Good Points: Print Quality. Built in FAX is very useful as it saves running via software. Easy to use. Good after sales service.
Bad Points: Uses too much ink usually for head cleaning or ink charging. All cartridges will charge the heads even if only one cartridge is changed. This means all cartridges run out at irregular times and at different rates. Uses up to 25% of the cartridge when charging the heads, which can happen at any time of printing!! Running cost are therefore high as a result. Also if any one cartridge needs replacing the printer simply stops printing until it is replaced which is very inconvenient if you have an important document to print out. Unlike other printers which will use colours to make up for low black ink the Epson does not. this is a cynical way of getting more money out of the customer.
General comments: Epson Stylus DX7000F Review -I have had the printer for 18 months and within the first 3 months I had to replace all the cartridges due to excessive head cleaning and ink charging at least 4 times at £25 ($50) a set. Finally the print heads failed by month 4.
I complained to Epson and they swapped the printer but it took 2 further new printers before I had a printer that at least worked. The high ink useage has not diminished and I can expect to change ALL the cartridges, printing with normal quality with black ink only, in a lot less than 100 pages.
I reckon the cost is around £0.50 ($1) per page! If I specifically used the colour inks say for photo printing I dread to think how much the costs would be. It is cheaper though less convenient to photograph the images and get them printed at a local printers than spend money on more cartridges. The only thing stopping me from using my local printing store is inconvenience and laziness on my part.
I also tried using compatibles but they caused printing error messages all the time and unfortunately they were not reliable enough for running a business. My local printer cartridge store advised me that the new chips on each epson cartridge make compatibility more of a problem with the latest Epson inkjets.
I will not buy another Epson and will probably buy a colour laser printer though I will check out more reviews before I make the purchase. Do not buy an Epson Ink Jet if you want a printer that is cheap to run.

Good price for all in one printer but buying ink every other day makes this Epson not worth the money.

Bad Product. Still in Development. Do not Touch it! Very Disappointment. Ugly.
I bough this printer to replace my old Canon MPC600F. I could not get ANY help from Canon Customer Service when I needed to repair or replace my old printer, despite trying to communicate with them for many months using ALL communications channels known to human! It was a very bad and an expensive experience. In fact, almost as expensive as a new multifunction printer! Hence why I went elsewhere for a new printer! ...
