I have purchased small bunches of flowers from Tesco's inside the Borehamwood store (i.e. not the ones you order to be delivered) and have noticed the last few bunches i have purchased have been terrible - they've either died before the date they were supposed to last until or haven't even bloomed and then died! I'm also not happy that Tesco have stopped providing the little sachets you add to the water! I did get a refund from the first bunch but i really do have better things to do each... (read more)

My Mum's birthday is on the 17th and just so happens next day Mothers day. I ordered flowers that came with a vase online from Tesco / InterFlora and paid extra to get large bunch as the picture wasn't clear on size. The order arrived but was very disappointed the flowers looked dry and it was a small arrangement. I was so annoyed. Never again ! Don't waste your money go to John Lewis or Marks & Spencer's instead. Thank you Tesco for making my Mum's Birthday and Mother's day... (read more)

Very disappointed with these flowers. The picture on the website showed a much bigger bunch of flowers than what was delivered. The arrangement was not good value for money. I feel completly cheated. I will not order flowers from Tescos again. (read more)

My sister and I ordered flowers for our Mum for Mother's Day - we have no idea whether the quality of their flowers is good or not because quite simply they were never delivered - even though we paid an additional £6.99 for pre 1pm delivery! Disgraceful sums it up I think especially given that's it was Mother's Day, you'd think they'd be prepared!
I called customer service the next morning and a recorded message announced that their lines were very busy and to call back later, at which point...

my daughter sent me some roses from tesco.com, i was socked to find they was almost dead.
I drove to my local tesco store with the flowers and was given an apology & refunded the money to my daughters debit card.

I ordered from Tesco on line as their in- store flowers are such good quality. Unfortunately the same standards do not apply to the mail order bouquets. I ordered a luxury arrangement of roses and was so disappointed with the flowers my wife received. I have seen better quality on garage forecourts, it looked like I had spent so little when the opposite was true. Don't be fooled by the pictures or the descriptions, they may bear absolutely no resemblance to what they deliver. (read more)

To sum up poor value , small roses and bad delivery after being loaded on a van at 7 am eventually arrived as office was closing and very near dead. Tesco`s answer was cut the stems down and leave them in water over night! Spoilt Valentines day as you can imagine. Never again! (read more)

Admittedly it shows a photo on the Tesco Flowers website and it describes the 'bouquet. BUT the reality is....big box left on doorstep ....flowers very cheaply available.... once out of the box and the wrapping paper.... pathetic for the money involved. Not impressed at all. I ordered a bunch of 18 Roses for my mum for mothers day. If you placed your order early, which I did, you also got a free voucher for your mum to have a pamper treatment.
I received the voucher for her pamper and the flowers were delivered on time, and my mum said were packaged really well!
However, I saw the flowers yesterday and only counted 17 Roses?
They are lovley colours and are still in bud, so I am sure that they will last, however they do seem a bit on the small side, but first...

I have now received another email from Tesco, from a very nice lady who appears to be genuinely concerned, which I did really appreciate.

<br/>She has refunded my £21.00 to my account and apologised again, and asked that I do not give up on tesco.com.

<br/>I have taken this on-board, and think I might give them another chance, as everyone does deserve a second chance.
<br/>
<br/>However, until I have tried and tested I will reserve my comments, and I won't recommend them until I am sure that this was a one-off occurrence.

Well, unfortunately, being pleased with the flowers didn't last, as only 4 opened up ,and they were ALL dead within 5 days. As for the pamper package; my mum rang Tesco on the 19th of March, and as yet has still not had a response, even though she has now called twice and they have promised her a call back within 5 days both times!

<br/>I have emailed Tesco to express how unhappy I am with the flowers, and the fact that no-one appears to be calling my Mum back, and I was greeted after 2 WEEKS with "sorry, we would usually investigate this kind of complaint, but as too much time has passed, we can". No mention at all about the pamper package!

<br/>I emailed back to say that the time elapsed is their fault, not mine, and that I expect better service from a company like Tesco. A week and 3 days has passed since my last email, and I have not yet had a reply - Poor Poor Poor - Please ignore my 8/10 rating, as due to these event I must say that it is now more like 2/10! The 2 for actually delivering on time and being packaged well.
