Bad Points: Takes time to get familiar with fitting it properly (but that should be the case with all child car seats). When it needs washing, removing and replacing the cover is quite a pain (3 times in 3 years, so not a deal-breaker). Two screws worked loose after a year and I had to pick them up off the floor and replace them myself.
General comments: Once fitted, we find the Maxi Cosi Tobi Booster Car Seat stays in place very firmly. The spring-open straps make it easy to get the child in. The red/green tension indicator is helpful, though I usually pull the straps tighter than the indicator shows is necessary.Easy to recline. Even with the seat behind the driver, it's possible to reach behind at the traffic lights and recline the seat. Because the seat reclines seperately from the base, it stays firmly fitted, unlike others we've tried in friends' cars.
Our son has been in this seat for almost 3 years now and we've been very happy with it. We have peace of mind that he is (at least appears to be) well protected in comparison to many seats owned by friends and family.

Easy to put in the car easy to strap child in as no messing with loose straps. The Maxi Cosi Tobi Booster Car Seat is a fantastic carseat. My son is very comfortable in it and doesn't try to get out of it. The seat is so easy to put in the car and feels incredibly secure once it's in. A very smart and secure seat, highly recommended.- Read Guest's review (77 words)

I am in the process of TRYING to get a full refund for this seat. No joys as yet from Maxi Cosi or the shop where i bought it from. No matter how tight I pull the straps to secure my child, my daughter is able to wriggle free straight away. At first she was ok in the seat as she was a baby and did not move as much, but now I think this car seat is so dangerous.- Read Mawjo's review (134 words and 1 comment)

I had heard great things about the Maxi Cosi Tobi Booster Car Seat, which is at the higher end of the price range for car seats. I had high expectations, and I was initially delighted with it. For me, unfortunately, it hasn't lived up to those expectations. It's very stylish and has many positive design ideas. Maybe a few tweaks and it will be all it claims to be, but for now, for me it's a no no.- Read Ang 91's review (398 words and 1 comment)
