    Good Points: Great comfort and feel good even over longer distances


    Bad Points: Wear out far too fast (especially for the price). Toe sticking through the mesh after a relatively modest amount of wear.


    General comments: The Asics GT 2120 is a very comfortable shoe, good support with a light feel. regular runner and loyal to Asics, that said this is not a cheap shoe and the mesh has worn away far too quickly. So looking at alternatives

    Love the support of these Asics GT 2120 but have now decided cannot afford to change them so frequently. Have purchased a pair of brooks gt9 and if same thing happens it must be toe lift as has been suggested!

    I have bought 5 pairs of Ascis over the years and all have been wonderful. So good in fact I have put others onto them. I am not a runner but a 50 year old who enjoys comfort while walking about 15km a week.

    After only 2 months of wearing the Asics GT 2120, I had worn the mesh out above my big toe. None of my other Asics did this despite my big toe being directly under the mesh. This was repaired with a patch but now I find the mesh has worn away at the sides as well. The left one has compl ...

    As i say i have been using these shoes for many years and have been very good, i have not changed although i have looked at other makes i still end up going back to these!
