    Good Points: Uses almost any old PC ( ie P2 450MHz - cheap + recycling!) Easy to set up. Can easily add extra drives. Works well


    Bad Points: Poor security, but not an issue if your behind a firewall and you trust your family!


    General comments: We just setup our old PII with a new 500GB drive (£90) a sata control card (£9) and the Naslite -2CDD ($29.95) and now have a 500Gb NAS :) Been running for about a week with no problems. I'm Impressed. A cheap, flexible alternative to ready made NAS.
