“Nice, but caught fire”

Review of a Smeg DF410 Dishwasher The dishwasher came with the house, so is approx 5 years old now. Easy to use, fairly quick cycle. Cutlery container could be shaped better, or be smaller, to allow more crockery to fit around it. Yesterday it caught fire - sounded like gunfire inside (due, I expect, to several PCB components overheating and exploding in quick succession) followed by billowing black smoke pouring out from the handle and front panel.
