    Good Points: Very competitively priced. Clear printing and consumables last a long time.


    Bad Points: Pages can curl on way out, presumably from heat of roller. I had problems sharing this printer between two (one win 98 and one XP) computer using an automatic switching unit - I now use a Gembird manual switch box with no problem.


    General comments: A nice printer. I had a Brother printer previously which lasted about 3 years under reasonably busy office use, so I had no qualms in getting another Brother. My previous model had a slight drop-off in print quality (prints were a bit grey) as the toner unit reached the end, but this model appears to print well right until the last copy. Which caught me out the first time as I hadn't ordered a replacement toner!
