Beautiful view. Service mediocre at best and I agree that you will be hit with a hefty electricity bill at the end of your stay. Well I assume it was fir electricity -- I received no correspondence about the extra charges and may advise my CC company that this is an unauthorized charge.

When I phoned for directions from Inverness I was met with a couldnt care less attitude - basically find it yourself.

Welcome pack -- a few tea bags and a couple of sachets of coffee.

For a cost of 1200 per week it offers very poor value for money tough the cabins are in fine condition and the view is spectacular.

We stayed there as a surprise for friends and vow never to go back.
On arrival our "welcome pack" was missing and when we told the owner she said...funny that ..there was none at the other one neither. The local shop shut early so we did without.
The electricity bill as an add on was an expensive addition with no means to check as no meter readings were given at the start or the end.
Hot tub far too expensive to use as you had to warm it up first, which took ages . Service was awfull and they see ...

Stayed at a lodge at Foyers, near Inverness, for Christmas 2008, excellent place the lodges are nice but for the price i expected everything to work ,some lights did'nt work and this is even mentioned in the hand book in the lodge supplied by the owners! also the hot tub is mentioned ...quote.... contrary to a well known hottub suppliers claim that you can run a hottub for £1 a day you cannot.......
and they aren't joking......we received a fuel bill for 1 week of £168.92 thats for ...

Lovely lodges, but the owner is an absolute nightmare. We woke on a Saturday morning to an incredibly rude, obnoxious, and inconsistent rant from the owner about our supposed noise the previous night, which had been so terrible that "all the other lodges have complained".When she'd completed her fizzing we wandered over to the next lodge (a mere 20m away) and explained that we were sorry for any noise the previous night. However the occupant just replied "We heard some talking till about midnig ...

I would certainly go back but if you are looking to eat out in the evening be prepared to travel. There is not a lot particularly close.

My husband booked a lodge for a birthday surprise. By the time we were due to go, there was 18 of us. We managed to book two lodges, a bed and breakfast and a hotel to accommodate us all. A lodge can accommodate 6 people. Foyers is situated on the less commercialised side of Loch Ness, about 25 minutes drive from Inverness.
On arriving, after a three and a half hours drive, we were tired and looking forward to all the lodge had to offer. No sign of reception being open but that was fine as ou ...
