    Good Points: This gym is very cheap, 10 dollars a month and 20 if you want tanning and guests. You have to pay the 20 dollars a month to use any other planet fitness however.


    Bad Points: There is a hidden charge every year that doubles the amount that you pay. They do not have decline benches or squat racks at the altamonte springs, Fl location. The staff acts like they are annoyed that you are there. You are lucky if you get a hello or goodbye from these people. You have to wipe down your own machines, they do not provide towels and at the ALT. SPRINGS location they have something called a "lunk alarm" where it is a horn that goes off when you drop weight too hard.


    General comments: By far the worst gym in which I have been a member. I wish that I never started a contract or I would have left already. Manager hung up on phone conversation over hidden billing charge. You cannot bring a gallon of water with you and you cant drop the weight too hard ( at the Altamonte springs, FL location) or something called a lunk alarm will go off. It is a loud horn that causes more noise than it is meant to quell. The staff seem annoyed to have you there, if not outright rude at times. This is a terrible gym, I would recommend paying the extra 20 dollars a month for LA fitness or the YMCA or ANYTHING ELSE. Anything is better than this gym.

    First off they overcrowd the place to the point where the fire marshall is about to show up any night now. they took EVERY machine that was worth while out because "we don't want people being intimidated with the amount of free weights people use." which is an absolute joke. they have 3 showers in the guys locker room they turned my steam room into a toilet paper closet. dumbells cut off at 80lbs an you usually have a good 15 to 20 min 3 person deep line before you can even get your hands on the ...

    This Planet Fitness location took over a decent World Gym near Clearwater, FL. First they began by removing all the heavy dumbbells, well, I could live with that being female and all. Then some leg machines disappeared, next to go was the pull-up bars. When I complained about the pull-up bars, I was told "80% of the population can't do even one pull-up" and that pull-up bars were intimidating to their "target population".
