Good Points: Great sounding speaker, many upgrades available, Sounds like the performers are standing in your room with you!
Bad Points: Large, need a fairly large room to get full potential, need 2 solid corners
General comments: The Klipsch Klipschorn is a fantastic speaker period. If you ever get the chance to own a pair do not hesitate. The bass is superb the mid range could stand a little work. You can always replace with an Altec 511 horn and driver. The tweeter is good but not great. The horn loaded bass is tight and chest pounding.
Pair these up with a nice tube amp and you will see what you have been missing. Look to buy used. Resale is very good. A crossover upgrade is good for the Audiophile.
This speaker will tear apart badly recorded music but will make good tacks unbelievable. If you can ever get a chance to listen to a pair take the time you will be well pleased
