    Good Points: Maytag Trilogy:
    Excellent design which was the reason for purchase, that and thinking Maytag was a reliable manufacturer.


    Bad Points: Breaks down for no apparent reason.


    General comments: Our last fridge freezer (Electrolux one) lasted for 25 years - our Maytag Sovereign 60 is only 15months old and I would get rid of it tomorrow had I not built in into the kitchen! So far lost two full frige and freezer loads of food. Don't buy Maytag!

    The service engineers were prompt and called back very quickly when I contacted Maytag. This may be because we live in Surrey where population is very concentrated. The only problem we have had is the unreliability aspect.

    We have a Maytag fridge freezer - not this model. Maytag customer service is consistently appalling - our call was first booked on 2nd May and we got the final fix today on 16th July. Maytag does not employ its own technicians but employs service agents and has scoured the country for the worst. For all the money I have spent on the Maytag fridge freezer since buying it in late 2000 I could have had 3 Samsungs.
