    Good Points: lovely surroundings and good food


    Bad Points: table mats needed cleaning, the salt pot had dried gravy down the side of it and we had to ask for a lipstick stained cup to be replaced.


    General comments: The Deeping Stage in general was a very pleasant lunchtime meal served by a pleasant young waiter but spoiled by easily rectified minor quibbles. 3rd jan 2008

    I'm sorry to say that I feel The Deeping Stage is a 'wolf in sheep's clothing'; looks good but tastes the opposite. Its such a shame that what looks really nice doesn't cut the mustard for me. I found it to be a real disappointment.

    My general comment would be that I will never ever go back to the Deeping Stage and I will be recommending to all my friends that they give it a particularly wide berth!4* prices for 1* food is my explanation of the Deeping Stage and I completely fail to see why others have scored it any higher...

    We had our wedding at the Stage and we were very impressed. The staff were very helpful and polite, just what you need on your wedding day. I would certainly recommend them.

    The Deeping Stage Market has very high quality of food, like no other in the locality.
