sounds far better than Cable Talk 3.1. bass is lean but surprisingly powerful, and midrange detail is impressive. Treble is nice and airy too. (read more)

“Recently bought Gale 315 Biwire which sounded superb...”

Recently bought Gale 315 Biwire which sounded superb but was too clumpy for our decor (I couldnt hide 2 runs under the carpet). Changed it for the QED silver and noticed that the bass is not as full sounding but otherwise the same, perhaps marginally clearer treble. The cable is nice and small though. Im now looking to keep this for the treble and buy a cheaper wire for the Bass. (read more)
