After waiting for nearly 6 weeks I have still not received the shoes I ordered. They were supposed to arrive within three days. The courier 'lost' the parcel after trying to give it to a shop that no longer hold parcels for their company (they couldn't trace it), before returning it to Treds. I have tried to contact Treds about this once a week for the last four weeks and have heard nothing back. It looks like I will be getting my money back through my bank and reporting them to the... I would highly recommend tReds to buy from, I bought a pair of babycham shoes for £5 I thought why not? I ordered them on Sunday, they were dispatched Monday and arrived today. At first I thought they were second hand because they were so cheap!! But no brand new prefect condition with tags and everything (: very happy customer! I got an amazing bargain! Surely the next unfortunate company to liquidate! As with other reviews ordered the goods, money taken but then I had to phone on third day to check order status only to be told there was a problem! Promised a call back that never came, follow up called revealed......... you guessed it, no stock. Forgivable, yes, but their lack of concern was exemplary. Couldn't give a damn, not even an apology! Ordered a fab pair of boots for my son on Friday from the Treds website. Ordering process and website features were fabulous, option of paypal was great too. Lunchtime Saturday had an email to say the boots were not actually in stock as the website stated! Money refunded! This is not the 1st time this has happened with this retailer. Very very poor customer service. Like other reviews posted, ordered the goods, they took my money and then I had to phone them 3 days later to find out 'there was a problem with my order'. Late delivery can be forgiven but no notification on nil stock is blinding error. Their lack of concern was exemplary. People I spoke to had a 'couldn't care less' attitude and didn't even apologise for the inconvenience. Specifically ordered these boots for a skiing trip but was let down 2 days before... (read more)

I ordered a pair of trainers, they took payment and then emailed me the next day saying the item was out of stock but still had 'In stock' on the website. So i ordered another pair and waited 2 days after they were meant to be delivered, emailed them to find out where my trainers were and they reply with 'We couldn't find your address' But they didn't bother to let me know without me emailing first! ..... Still waiting! DO NOT USE THEM unless you don't mind waiting and waiting. (read more)

I did an online search for a pair of fitflops and chose tReds because offered the cheapest price with free, next day delivery and had a lot of good reviews. I could also sign in as a guest (i.e. not go through the fuss of create an account) and pay by Paypal - all pluses in my eyes. I ordered my shoes at 3pm and they arrived next day, in biodegradable plastic wrapping and a drawstring carry bag. Very pleased with the overall experience. Will look to shop with them again. As others have stated, a bargain usually is too good to be true.............and it was!! Ordered boots as stated in stock, paid through Paypal. Simple straight forward. Next day received an email from Paypal informing me of a refund of the whole amount. No contact from Treds! We contacted them to be told there is a huge turnover of stock and they sold out, good little marketing ploy. To be plain and simple - ordered the item of interests - paid with positive results of payment being acknowledged for the item - feeling excited of the absolute bargain - received an e-mail a few hours later that the item was out of stock after being advertised as in stock and further offered a 10% discount on any item not in sale..treds - you need a better e-technology - at least link your warehouse with your site...it's A,B,C...or at least at the backend of the site set the item when low... I have tried for months now to order certain pairs of boots,shoes trainers from the Treds website. Firstly the payment goes through smoothly then my e-mail comes back saying they have recieved my order and they should be with me the next day. BUT then after 24 hours the money is back in my account and an email of apology giving me a poor 10% of next (full price)purchase. i was a bit worried having read some of the reviews on here that the shoes i had ordered online would be out of stock (the shoes i wanted were not available *anywhere* else and the price at treds was amazingly good).
however, this was unfounded - my shoes were posted really fast, with tracked delivery and i had a number to call to track the process.

I purchased Ugg's from T-reds (Canterbury). After 3 weeks the lining inside had perished. I took them back expecting them to be exchanged but to my surprise they manager said they had to be sent away. I AM STILL WAITING FOR NEWS - this was 10 days ago! i called after 6 days and was spoken to fairly rudely by the manager - that they had not heard from head office as of yet.
The boots cost over £200. i am now going to demand a refund and go elsewhere.

I cannot praise treds online highly enough! 5 star customer service. I was a little worried after I placed my order for a pair of art company boots then I read the reviews.
The boots arrived within 2 days - free delivery but unfortunately they were too large. I used the returns form in the box and returned them at my own cost (a very steep £8.95!) but was told an exchange would again be free delivery. I opted for a refund and it was credited back to my account the next day.

I ordered about 8 pairs of shoes, all from the sale and at a crazily cheap price. It looked like I'd got a bargain but over the next day I kept getting e-mails informing me that there had been a problem with the website and that certain items I'd ordered weren't actually in stock and therefore I was going to be refunded for them. The Truro store is an absolute horror to shop in during the summer months. The staff in there were red faced and literally dripping with sweat. I couldn't work in a place that is that hot and I work in a kitchen at a busy pub! I found them to be overpriced, seemed about 3 years behind of footwear trends and I thought their customer service was disappointing.
I feel that treds are far behind other shoe shops such as Office and Schuh. Have a good wide range of skate shoes. Although, you could probably find them some where else for less.
