Our new Vaillant Ecotec plus constantly cuts out due to low pressure. We had the the system flushed and magna clean added. Vaillant replaced the pressure sensor but still no joy.A few visits later a vaillant engineer could see water dripping from the heat exchanger so it was replaced. Two months later the pressure cuts the boiler out again and their so customer service say that a block has been put on our warranty meaning it has to be a problem with system & not the boiler.We now have to pay for an engineer to visit to prove that there is no problem on our system. We are wondering whether it's fair or legal to block our warranty and make us pay for a shoddy product?

My boiler kept cutting out due to soaring pressure. After charging up the pressure it would work again until it went off the scale and so on. My engineer told me it needed a new expansion vessel.  He fitted one at great cost (he told me that the spares depot had dozens on the shelf because they fail so often) so I asked Vaillant if this was a common problem. They didn't answer my question so after the new one was fitted I sent the old one to them. They checked it, increased the pressure (which was at .7 bar) to 1 bar and ran it on a boiler. They said that there is nothing wrong with it. My engineer is upset - he said what else could it have been if the boiler now works 100% when all he did was change the expansion vessel. It has been regularly serviced in accordance with the manual including pressure checks on the vessel. Have you any idea what might be the explanation for all this?

I have had my Vaillant Ecotec Plus Combi 831 for 7 years. I have had a few problems, but nothing really serious. What is the lifespan of these boilers? I have seen several reports with different results.

My boiler has stopped working with an F62 error code. What does this mean and how can we get this fixed?
