I was hopping for a lot more from this tyre,i have the Q2's and had heard good things about the tyre if you are a warm weather dry road rider you can live with these, you can learn them fast you can feel the warning signals well in advance and they work well. But they loose heat fast and they are not very good in even damp conditions never mind cold or wet. they nearly caught me twice in just damp conditions and i was not pushing hard,i was surprised how easy they lost grip. And since then can never trust them. Would not use these again. But i know guys that swaer by them and they can hussle. So this is just what i found with them.

Came as OEM on my new CBR600RR, I had a choice between these and the stock Bridgestones that Honda offer and as I've never got on with Bridestones I thought I'd give these a go. Only done 1000 miles on them and must say not terribly impressed. Front tyre lacks any real feel and will slide and tuck when pushed, luckily it's not fully let go yet but I don't trust it that much. These tyres are not great in cold or damp conditions either as then the rear starts to spin up as well. Now the weather is starting to warm up a bit the are behaving a bit better but will NOT be getting another set! Michellin Pilot Sports are on my shopping list as tyre of choice.

Well these tyres have come with my 2010 fireblade, I have only done 200 miles but I started to lean my bike on dry but mildly cold roads as it's November, the front slipped as I was leaning, It didn't result in a accident as I knew what was happening and how much I could push before losing too much grip. There's not alot of grip maybe better on warmer roads. Also back end slipped out, at only 4000rpm on a cold road too this was another day by the way. All this and I'm still running the bike in haven't taken bike past 8000rpm, So far then I don't like them maybe they need ruffing up a bit more but the coating apperas to have gone now!! Maybe some different tyre before they lose traction and cause a accident. Tyre pressures are 42 rear 36psi front.

Think i would choose something better than the Dunlop Qualifier Motorcycle Tyres, That would allow me to take the machine down a bit more,
With a bit more confidence.

If your an aggressive rider, who likes to realy likes to get low in the corners in boiling hot weather Dunlop Qualifier Motorcycle Tyres are great, tons of grip at extreme lean. However in the wet you may aswell use slicks as they are terrible wear rate not as bad as made out i got 4000 outta mine. But i ride hard and use the whole tyre not just the centre so if you wanna go touring or stay upright a lot, choose a different tyre. These also double as a good track day tyre so bonus
