I bought a ZX9R which had new Qualifier Race reps on, they are reasonable in the dry, but absolutely shocking in the wet, I have no confidence in them and cant wait to put some Bridgestones back on,I have never been a fan of Dunlops, and the qualifier has proved to me why. I feel an inexperianced rider could seriously hurt themselves with these tyres.
They may be good on a trackday, but are lethal in the wet

Dunlop Qualifiers (not II's or RR's just the plain-jane OEM versions) were fitted to my '08 Blade when I picked it up. They had done a few miles and had plenty of tread left, and were at the correct pressure. But the previous owner was a straight line merchant and the shoulders hadn't really been srubbed in, so I took it easy and gradually worked up to pace. Just as I was starting to trust them the front let go on a roundabout and down I went. Expensive mistake, I should have changed the tyres b ...

I got a set of OE Dunlop D209 Qualifiers on my Z750 when I bought it new. The grip is fantastic from them, even in the wet (Scotland), utterly confidence inspiring on my particular bike. It's easy to get the pegs down when pressing on.
The real downside of them is wear, I got 1400 miles from the rear and 2500 from the front of spirited riding through the awesome roads of Scotland. The centre went on the rear and shoulders on the front.
They are also not cheap - £110 rear (fitted) and &poun ...

Dunlop Qualifier tyres came on my first bike, cbr600rr, so wasnt too sure how they should perform, it wasnt until i built up a bit confidence that i realised how bad they were, nearly low sided a few times, found the bike just slid away from me and a high speed corner, and in the wet were terrible!

The Dunlop Qualifier Motorcycle Tyres are absolutely the worst tyre i have ever ridden on!!! i bought my gixxer 750 k6 with a new set of these so called tyres on, the worst mistake i ever made, they do not have any grip what so ever and will spin up on a warm summer day which isnt a good sign at all anyway after about 1000 miles on these tyres the front lost traction and i dished the bike at the roundabout i have never had a tyre so bad in all my years riding.

Think i would choose something better than the Dunlop Qualifier Motorcycle Tyres, That would allow me to take the machine down a bit more,
    With a bit more confidence.

If your an aggressive rider, who likes to realy likes to get low in the corners in boiling hot weather Dunlop Qualifier Motorcycle Tyres are great, tons of grip at extreme lean. However in the wet you may aswell use slicks as they are terrible wear rate not as bad as made out i got 4000 outta mine. But i ride hard and use the whole tyre not just the centre so if you wanna go touring or stay upright a lot, choose a different tyre. These also double as a good track day tyre so bonus

Dunlop Qualifier Motorcycle Tyres, just a normal 50/50 tyre, nothing special at all. I suppose it all boils down to how much you want to spend.
Bad grip, have absolutely no faith in the front tyre and for the rear, well not a lot more. I have been waiting for the front and rear tyre to show me the tarmac. In the rain i am even more sceptical about them. I would definately put power 2ct's on my bike again.

Buy something else! Very flat profile so don't turn in too well. Square off quickly. Ridiculous wear rate. 1000 miles only and not much left!

Buying another set for a track day soon as they were confidence inspiring when new.

I got the Dunlop Qualifier to replace some D208s I wore out. Much better, but more money!
