In een echte Spaanse wijk dicht bij het strand en op 10 minuten lopen van La Rambla. Zeer praktisch appartement met alles erop en eraan. We hebben heerlijk weer gehad dus konden veel gebruik maken van het grote terras. Metro op 5 minuten lopen, heerlijke Tapas-bas om de hoek, fiets-verhuur op loop-afstand; kortom perfecte locatie !! The apartment met our expectations. It is large and bright with a good terrace (although the weather didn't allow too much use of that)m Some of the equipment needs updating or fixing but overall it was comfortable and quiet, affording a good night's sleep - essential for a good relaxing holiday ! Our first trip to Barcelona and definitely not our last. Our contact person met us at the agreed time and made sure everything was hassle free. The accommodation was first class and even though it was March we were still able to sit out on the terrace and enjoy the sunshine. It was in a good location with lots to see and options to eat and drink. Public transport was first class and not expensive. We fitted so much in during our four day break. (read more)

Everything was fantastic. Our host was very gracious in outlining and directing us to all the local markets, metro and restaurants. So many great things to do in Barcelona and this was an outstanding location to set off. Your 2 mins from all amenities and 2 subway/Metro stops to the City Center and Ramblas. We stayed for 4 nights in Belcanto. The apartment is lovely, really well thought out - perfect for a short stay for a couple. It is located fairly close to Girona Metro or if your up for a bit of walking, well placed for some of the main sights based around central Barcelona. Raimundo, who met us on arrival was really welcoming and gave us lots of information on what to do/see and recommended some restaurants to try out. Everything was perfect at the Barcelona Sun apartment booked through cocoon. It gave us a lot of freedom and flexibility to really experience the Barcelona lifestyle. It is just as good as it is in the photos. Our only concern is that the apartment didn't have air conditioning (which we accept was stated at the time of booking). L'appartement "Holidays born 1" est bien situé, en position centrale dans Barcelone permettant de se déplacer à pied dans la vieille ville, la décoration est de style industriel ; il manque de luminosité du fait de l'étroitesse de la rue. Il est au 3e étage sans ascenseur à ne pas conseiller pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. This apartment met all our needs. The location is excellent, close to everything like metro stations, Aerobus to the airport and all of the tourist attractions. We knew it would be noisy, but we wanted to be close to the action in a big city. One suggestion: we only received one set of towels and two and a half toilet rolls for a rental period of nine days...very uncomfortable! Fantastic apartment with the best location - close to metro station, close to good attractions, plenty of places to eat right on your doorstep. Photo's on website matched the apartment. Owner was friendly & helpful - told us where to buy groceries, where attractions were, what was a must to see, etc. Everything was there that we needed except for the manual for the washing machine (but we figured it out eventually) & a chopping board :-) We absolutely loved the apartment & it felt like home... We arrived in Barcelona Saturday, June 16, 2012 and stayed at the Giovanni at Carrer Cristobal de Moura 38-42, 7-1, 08019 Barcelona. The owner of the apartment, Swietlana, was away with her boyfriend at the beach for the weekend, so her friend, Viktoria, let us into the apartment. The appartment is big enough, however the bathroom is little. Closeby the beach, supermarket, restaurants and the metro. No airco but we didn't miss it. It is a real climb to get to the appartment. In the evening there is sometimes noise in the street. In the building is was quiet. The electricity for the washing machine is dangerous. We had a good time and enjoyed our stay. (read more)

We stayed as a group of 5 on the 16th October 2011 The Apartment was very clean and only 5 minutes walk from Las Ramblas and even closer to some local supermarkets. It was a very quiet street which was very nice indeed. The Facilities in the Apartment were great and had everything a large group would need. I would definately stay here again!! If you want to stay closer to the beach and ports this place is about 40 mins to 1 hour walking which was nice as you can take in the great sites... (read more)

The location is great, right in the middle of the old city and near the harbour. The apartment itself is simple but adequate. Although there is a lift, for people who are disabled or have problems with stairs I wouldn't recommend it. You have to take some very narrow and steep stairs, even to reach the first floor. The Cocoon Barcelona apartment is wonderful however slightly to get there for the first day arrived. I find the apartment is brilliant, near to the beach, near to the supermarket, the house fully equipments, kitchen marvelous etc.
However this is not in the city centre, but the transport is so easy. Buses 14, 41, 59,metro Ciutadella olimpic all were so near to the apartment. It is worth for the price, well recommended !!

We had a pretty good experience with Cocoonbarcelona. We just got married in Barcelona and had to rent a couple of apartments for family and friends and the staff of Cocoon was very helpful and friendly to help us finding accomodation and even babysitters for the whole group. Cocoon even granted us a special discount. We had to rent several apartments in the Born area as they didnt have a lot of big apartments available, that was the only negative point. The amenities that were offered were pretty much as advertised, although it seems like wi-fi is standard in most of the short term rentals and this one did not have it. Our experience was so-so but we had two negative impressions and won't rent from them again. We chose the apartment Limon / playa because we (3 persons) wanted to stay 5 nights in a cheap apartment close to the beach and cook sometimes on our own. Unfortunately, cooking was not possible for us due to the hygienic circumstances in the kitchen. If you just need a room for 3 persons we would recommend the place but if you want to use the kitchen we would rather recommend to choose a higher standard accommodation.
