Good plentiful food. Warm family atmosphere. Very helpful English speaking owner/manageress and staff. Good location for Montgenevre lift (outside hotel)and only short walk to Claviere (italian lifts), short transfer 1.5 hrs from turin. Ski/ boot room in basement. Claviere has some excellent skiing (local lift pass 118 eu Jan 09) and access to several resorts eg Sauze d'oulx, Sestriere, San sicario. Sometimes has school groups which can be noisy at night.
