    Good Points: Room very clean and kept that way, towels changed on request. Food really good; varied and plenty of it. No queues on ski lifts. Really hot showers.


    Bad Points: Hotel could do with a lick of paint and more comfy seating in the reception areas.


    General comments: What made our holiday exceptional was the friendliness and efficiency of the hotel manager and her staff. They were without exception extremely hardworking and tolerant of our large group of 8 adults and 8 children. Nothing was too much trouble, they should be really proud of themselves. I would have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending this hotel to my friends and hope that my kids grow up to be just like the young adults that work here.

    The Hotel Grande Claviere has a lovely warm friendly atmosphere, I was so happy I have been back since...twice. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. My boarding socks slightly deterred the staff from cleaning my room every day but then again I don't know a human alive who could withstand the stench. A brilliant all around hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!
    Plus the surrounding mountains are fantastic.

    On arrival our rooms had been mixed up, when we finally got our room it was dirty and dusty and the toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. When I asked the manager about this he said they were cleaned every day. The hotel is run and cleaned by a group of teenagers, who are there only to ski/snowboard. The manager was extremely rude and ignorant and did not help us with any of our inquiries.

    The Hotel Grande Claviere is a great family hotel with plenty of fun for all the family. We would definitely recommend this to any friends and family looking for a family skiing holiday in Italy. The food was excellent in the evenings, 3 courses everyday but two, and that was on the carvery night and Italian night where is was 5 courses. Breakfast was good apart from two mornings where there wasn't much choice for the children. But generally it was one of the best choices we've had on a skiin ...
