Good Points: Maroon 5's debut album is arguably their best work to date - despite the fact they have only ever produced one other commercial album! It's full of sexually fuelled lyrics, thumping choruses and very cleverly put together. Adam Levine's voice fits every song perfectly and the frontman proves he can sing both affectionate and slightly edgier songs, as demonstrated on "Harder To Breathe". There are arguably no dull tracks on this album - a fantastic effort.
Bad Points: None.
General comments: Maroon 5's debut album help propell to them to sell millions of albums worldwide and become very popular in pop culture. Singles "This Love" and "She Will Be Loved" proved very popular and are original and enjoyable songs to listen to. Other songs on the album are equally as strong making "Songs About Jane" a very accessible and fun album to listen to. "Through With You" and "Secret" are perhaps album highlights along with the very catchy "Sunday Morning." Whoever Jane is, she must be also pleased with this album.

Let's get straight to the point. Songs About Jane by Maroon 5 is an amazing album. But what makes it so amazing? Maroon 5 manage to mix genres to suit everybody's taste. Each song has a unique sound and rhythm. From simple pop songs such as 'This Love', to the sweet sounding melodies in 'She Will be Loved' and 'Sweetest Goodbye'. There is a sense of soul in 'Sunday Morning', or the more rockier sounds of 'Harder To Breathe'. There is a song to suit everybody on this album. I would especially rec ...- Read KellyA's review (131 words)

Maroon 5, Songs About Jane is the best album in my collection!
The music and lyrics are outstanding...one of those albums where you listen to every song not just one or two songs and skip over the rest!
The tone of the tracks vary i.e. "Harder to Breathe" is how do i say, a 'loud' track down to a soulful "Sunday Morning". The mix is fantastic and they do it so well.
To sum up... Probably the best album round!- Read priceysarah's review (127 words)

I've never been very open minded about my musical tastes but as soon as I heard Maroon 5's 'Songs About Jane', that all changed. I was pulled into a blend of rock mixed with soul led by Adam Levines emotional vocals. Needless to say, I fell in love with them.
I highly reccommend the album to all because it's too good to miss.- Read Kstarr47's review (80 words)

Maroon 5, Songs About Jane gives track to track, enjoyment and entertainment at high value. Adams distinctive voice makes the album "different" to other artists. "Harder to breathe" is the most catchiest, funkiest, rockiest, most outstanding song, the others, such as "Tangled" and "this love" are also a masterpiece. I applaud Maroon 5 greatly!- Read shorty360's review (65 words)
