The instructor was just ok but was a little bit awkward at times. Got through test quickly but car was always red hot

I would like to say a very big thank you to my instructor who helped me to pass my driving test. He pointed out my mistakes in training sessions and also encouraged me to overcome from those. It's big boost for me and I passed my practical test with just four minors.

This is the third driving school I have used. After taking lessons off and on for over 11 years, it was crucial that I passed as I found out I was expecting a child. I was booked in initially for 6 hours, and was met by my instructor I explained my situation and the need to pass the test within a limited time frame. My instructor treated me with respect and never spoke down or belittled me (an experience I had with previous schools) Within 10 double lessons, I passed my test and the confidence and encouragement I got from my instructor was fundamental in securing that. My instructor was a great teacher, who made me laugh and feel comfortable at all times. I had complete faith in that he would help me pass and I believed that his faith in me was the boost I needed.

I had a very good experience with BSM and very happy with my instructor. I had many lessons before with a private instructor, wasted a huge amount and even couldn't realise my mistakes or I would say adopted bad habits and failed 3 attempts. Then I decided to change my instructor and chose BSM. Although had 3 more attempts but I am very satisfied with my learnings, at least my bad habits gone now and more confident even if I am not familiar with the routes. One more thing I would like to mention that I had to change my test centre, don't know but it helped me. Very happy with BSM providing me with the best instructor. Many Thanks to BSM.

Used BSM last minute as I'd booked my test and my instructor had let me down, so only had 4-5 lessons. The BSM instructor was late every lesson without warning. He was on his phone frequently, making personal phone calls and even a visit to a friend on one occasion, where I was made to park for 10minutes+ of my own time on double yellow lines. Dispute all faults, I did pass first time and so would recommend BSM to a friend.

The process of learning how to drive was easy and trouble free thanks to my instructor, who was very professional, efficient, calm, patient , helpful, kind, and made me feel comfortable and calm at all times, although driving in London is not a very relaxing experience...!! He really helped me to feel confident and learn. I had not previous driving experience, so this was a crucial aspect of my learning process. I feel very grateful to him. Bsm customer service team were always kind and helpful

I must say that my instructor was really gentle, sincere and patient. he was really helpful and helped me learn through my mistakes without condemnation. I had tried another instructor from a different company but he was a mess, just took my money and disappeared. On the whole i must say that we had brilliant practice sessions, he had good teaching and training techniques. He helped me work through my learning need as i thought i needed and we dealt with them appropriately. Passing was sweet and i thank my instructor for a job well done.

My BSM instructor was lovely. A nice gent. He was patient with me and I felt like I could make a mistake without him scolding me. I can get quite flustered at times but he helped me keep calm in the car. The only point I would make that could be deemed as negative, was he was too helpful. What I mean by this is that I failed my first test on my reverse manoeuvre. This was, I feel, because if the reversing started to go a bit 'off' on my lesson, ie into the kerb on a reverse round the corner move, he would correct me before it went completely wrong. Therefore when it came to my test and doing it all on my own at a corner I hadn't practised on, I hit the kerb and didn't have the skill set to know how to correct the cars direction as my instructor always corrected me before it got to this point, ie before I hit the kerb. The only other negative is the price. I spent a hell of a lot of money and I could only take lessons in two hour slots, never one hour, which drove up the price ! But overall, an excellent driving school.

i took driving lessons and the test 3 times with another company but didn't pass. then booked with bsm 8 hours and passed my test from the first time !! we did a lot of practice and would always keep on making me confident of what I'm doing. he also took me to the same route as the test, which made it easier on the test day

From starting with one driving instructor I soon switched to BSM, my new instructor was a lot more friendly and helpful, he encouraged me every driving lesson with what I'd learnt and I was soon improving and much more confident on the road. The prices are fairly reasonable. I love all the information they give to help such as tracking books, show-me tell-me questions, and mock driving tests; it truly shows what stage your at and how much you've improved since day one. I've recommend my driving instructor and BSM as a whole to all of my friends because I believe through my driving experience they are the way forwards with driving. They are all aware of what standard is needed to pass your practical test and theory test as well, they are willing to give you a lot of help unlike some driving schools.

I passed thanks to my BSM instructor, Adnan Munir Dar, who works primarily around the Manchester area. When I first started taking lessons, I had a two hour lesson with a chap who let me drive for all of 15 minutes and then spent the remainder talking about headrests and how to de-mist the windows. With Adnan, I drove for the full two hours in the first lesson. He was calm and knew how to tailor the lessons in order for me to pass my test. He was observant and knew which were my weak points and concentrated lessons around these. I would recommend BSM to anyone; although the lessons are more expensive than going with other companies, you pay for what you get and the end result it is certainly worth it! Ringing to pay for lessons was always straightforward and the people on the phone were always very helpful. The whole thing from start to finish was thorough, I was shown tutorials on an iPad in order to help me pass my theory and this helped with illustrating issues such as indicating on roundabouts. My instructor was patient and calm and encouraged me to learn from my mistakes in lessons, rather than dwelling on them. Despite failing the first time, he gave me the confidence to try again and pass at the second attempt not too long later. Thank you!

I would give 5 stars but my first instructor with BSM was not great for me, he was a bit harsh and I knew he would never help me to pass. So I rang BSM to change and they advised a guy who helped me so much , I would not be the safe driver I am today without his help. He helped me to relax and not be nervous or panic. I would recommend BSM to my friends although the first instructor they gave me let them down but apart from that I am happy with them!!

I would just like to firstly say a massive thank you to my instructor for getting me through my driving test 1st time. I had firstly tried with Pass n go and after around 14 hours still never got out of my street. On a recommendation I tried BSM. From the off I felt at ease With my instructor who rang me a few days before my first lesson with him for an informal chat which I thought was a nice touch.(with him I passed with in 3 months) As an older student (early 40's) I was worried I wouldn't pick things up as quick and my confidence was knocked a little from my previous experience. But from the beginning with him I felt comfortable and he was always helpful and never got angry or annoyed even when I was getting annoyed and angry with myself! He was always approachable through the phone and was always on time and would always let me know if a different slot became available if I should want it, and always plan my lesson well in advance. I would certainly recommend BSM but I do believe you need the right instructor that suits you, and the faults not necessarily with the driving school. It may take a few instructors before finding the right on. I found BSM great to learn with and now considering doing the pass plus for some extra tuition. The only draw back is a bit expensive in all honesty.

Started off with an overbearing Eco crazed instructor who insisted if I took it over 2000 revs he would charge me for a lessons petrol! He also stopped me in the middle of the road with his pedals which caused me far more panic than help! I asked to change to another instructor and he was 1 million times better! He got me 0 minors in my test after 10 hours of lessons! Not bad right? But the first instructor was what ruined my experience. Just so glad I asked to change instructors!

I have had the best driving experience with BSM. My instructor Adnan constantly showed nothing but kindness, patience & helped me to become calm & confident. He always greeted me with a smile & constantly made me feel that I had a good lesson. He was patient enough to go over the same things until I felt confident enough & got it right. He never made me feel silly or incompetent.I can't thank him enough & would recommend BSM.

It was my pleasure to learn driving with BSM. I studied with Adnan who is professional, friendly, and flexible instructor. iPad driving app that he used was very handy and useful. It is very easy to visualise various scenarios on the road. Adnan provided good clues to look for during maneures that definitely helped on the exam. Overall would recommend him to my friends
