Very impressed indeed. Also, have had several people recommend BSM that have passed first time (including wife and sister in law). I wasn't going to write a review but, having read the majority of comments on this page, felt obliged to do so. Perhaps it's the sceptic in me, but I can't help but wonder whether many of these were written by rival driving schools? Even if not, it would help if they were legible! It is my understanding that BSM are the national (and the oldest) driving... (read more)

I had what I thought was a good instructor for a few refresher lessons until I had to postpone a lesson for essential reasons that could have compromised my safety: in accordance with my verbal agreement with that specific instructor:I'd factored in postponing lessons at short notice - mainly owing to work related issues. No problem for this either then. A verbal agreement is a verbal agreement and it would just be re-booked with no cancellation charge. The BSM written contract that says... (read more)

BSM I consider is the worst driving school ever. The instructors are very manupulative and try and squeeze as many lessons as possible.I had an instructor for automatic car , he never arrived on time and was very intimidating.I left BSM and joined other driving school and in 5 lessons could successfully pass the test. Inadequate standards, extremely expensive and push to test when not ready. Having now switched to a local driving school I cannot believe the difference in teaching quality and standards. That is the problem with BSM if you are a beginner, they also give you a beginner instructor who do not really understand you're need to learn, but you are lucky because you are not beginner so they give you a good instructor. I am also in BSM now and i am not happy as my instructor do not build my confidence at all, actually she tried to put it down. Just to be polite I do not ask for a replacement, is only basics anyway, i just study myself and get what i can get for the car for my money, but they will be no second time on this company, cause is not great.
