I bought it from a golf fair at a golf clearance sales fair. Outstanding price/performance, the ball fly beautifully high with soft landing and no loss in distance . The NS Pro 955CL shaft is perfectly match with me. I can notice that this set of irons was imported from Japan to Thailand. For the appearance, most of reviewer here said it's not a beautiful irons. “The ball does not spring off the face!!!”

I have owned my Hibore irons for over a year. It is a love hate relationship. I have a 3 handicap and I am here to tell you the ball does not spring off the club. Don't get me wrong they are not that bad but they do not give you anymore distance than any other club. Less distance to the cut. (read more)

I bought a second -hand set of Cleveland Hi-bore xli irons(excellent condition), with a regular graphite shaft from jamgolf.com for £189. I have played one round with them so far and the results are stunning. I'm getting high and straight shots consistently, even down to the 4 iron!
I have previously struggled with my irons, but these irons are incredible. If you struggle with your irons, or not, buy these! The ball seems to spring off the face of the club like no other. Great for mid /...

Superb set of irons.
The reviews say they are easy to hit the ball with, which is 100% correct. A spokesperson from Cleveland has been recorded as saying, "If you can't use these clubs, perhaps its time to take up another sport". A little harsh maybe, but in all fairness these clubs are are the ultimate in taking you from high handicap or beginner, downwards.
I didn't believe all the hype about these clubs, and in fact bought a perfectly good set of clubs a short while ago from Srixon....

Cleveland Hibore are absolutely awesome . Easier to hit and at least ten to fifteen yards longer than my old clubs. Took five strokes off my game first time out. My golfing buddies are calling them "an unfair advantage". I am 65 years old and I think they should call these clubs "Equalizers". What I have lost over the years in strength and length to my younger counterparts was quickly erased by the magic in these sticks. After playing golf for over 20 years most recently using King Cobra II Irons, I made the switch to the Cleveland Hibore Irons. They are unreal! They are very easy to hit and they immediately corrected my fade. I am able to accurately hit my irons with confidence. They carry the ball very high and I have notices zero impact on distance.
I complimented my set with the Hibore DRAW driver and I am smashing it consistently & accurately.

These irons are phenomenal - the Cleveland Hibore's are very easy to use from either the fairway or the light rough. They seem to hit the ball effortlessly, whereas traditional irons sometimes feel like hard work. As far as control goes, I believe that I am hitting the ball straighter because of my new irons, but maybe I've just become a much better golfer all of a sudden & the results are all down to down to me & not my new Cleveland Hibore irons ;-)! If you are looking for a game improving set of irons, that will lower your score, this Cleveland Hibore set is for you. These clubs are very forgiving, launch the ball high for a soft landing and more control, and are longer then any other club I have hit. My shots are straighter, more consistent, and I am finding the greens with consistency because I can. I would have never believed it unless I tried them myself. There just can't be an easier set of irons to hit! The Cleveland Hibore golf irons want to go straight or with a little draw... The trajectory is higher than standard irons -- and longer! I can't say enough good things about these clubs! (read more)

I have reached a point in my game that distance control and proper layups that precede the shots to the greens are becoming very important. My previous clubs did not allow me to refine my game. It was hard to consider any other irons or hybrids when I tried out the Cleveland Hibore clubs. I also use the Hibore driver and am enjoying more distance with more control. You will not see my name in Sports Illustrated, but I can assure you that I am totally enjoying my golf experiences. (read more)

I thought the Cleveland Hibore Irons sucked! They were not hitting as straight or anywhere near as long as my old irons (Ping Eye 2) THey didnt feel as comfortable either. Im glad i didnt buy these. Im still looking for my new irons now. (read more)

The secret to these hybrid irons is to hit down and through, pitching the ball against the ground, and taking a mild divot, even with the 3 hybrid. I have a regular shaft which I think is best with these sold headed clubs. A stiff shaft may be better still, I'm not sure. Another vital point to getting the best out of these magnificent clubs is to allow the club to hit the ball rather that rushing down from the top, or forcing the stroke, because these clubs are so powerfully long. I found this review helpful because...I was considering buying these clubs and the reviewer really gave me a good idea as to how the clubs would hit, rather than just "WOW! These clubs are great!"

I finally decided to go with new technology so I went and took out a few high end drivers to try against my old tried and true ZT Crown Jewel. I Hit the Ping G- 5 first, The Nike Sasquash, Square head and Calloway Ft-3 followed. Finally the Cleveland Hibore and it was love at first swing. I pounded the ball and was able to work it as well. The trajectory you get with this club is excellent, high, straight and far. You don't need to tee the ball as high as with most drivers, although it does take a bit of experimenting to find the right tee height for the sweet spot. Overall, it's a good performing club for the average golfer, helps to increase both distance and consistency. (read more)
