    Good Points: Adaptor has standard 1/2 UNF thread and allows the fitting of other silencers


    Bad Points: The silencer supplied does nothing to the sound of the pistol


    General comments: I bought the Brocock silencer kit for the CP99 and found it to be totally useless, the silencer tube is just that, a tube, it does nothing to the sound of the pistol. However my 20 or so pounds where not wasted, in order to fit the silencer you have to remove the little screw at the muzzle end of the gun, then put the adapter on the end and fit the longer screw supplied with the silencer. Once this adapter is fitted throw away the silencer tube and fit a proper 1/2 UNF threaded air rifle silencer, I use a Weihrauch HW100 silencer that I paid nearly £40 for but it really does silence the pistol, with no effect on pellet impact.
