  I ordered a pair of boots from The Calf Width Boot Company Ltd since last year May im still waiting for it ha ha. Now the company has dissolved there is no means for me to get back my money. one thing i will say is i will never purchase anything from an unknown company on the internet again!

  the boots themselves are well made and have lasted well. I wear them virtually everyday in the autum/winter. They're about the same price as every where else, and for value for money are fine. But then I only paid for one pair of my 3!! Product is fine for the price, things did get sorted out but it took a lot of patience (all the time they had my money) and a lot of perseverence. Was made up for the fact that I got my boots free and another pair free because of the wait, but it was due more to ...

  I'm thrilled with my boots as I have always had problems finding the right length boots to fit me, being very short. And the fact that there is a choice of styles and colours is great. Will definitely be using this company again.

  I am very concerned as my only contact is through the web site which is now displaying a note to say it's being overhauled. The Calf Width Boot Company have not responded to my email request for their contact details. I feel rather foolish having parted with my money before even having an address but I was so happy at finding a company that could supply a pair of boots that fitted. I would be very grateful if anyone knows a contact address or phone number please share it via a review.

  My husband has also purchased a pair of boots from the calf width boot company, expecting to receive them shortly after he had paid but it has been a month now and have received nothing yet, they were meant to be a birthday present from my husband. We are on a very low income and over a hundred pounds from our income is a hell of a lot of money, I wish we had found this site before.
  I think it is disgusting that they have treated us like this, I am so angry!

  I am glad its not just me - ordered my boots on 21st April 08 and still have received nothing yet! Have been in contact with them by email on many occasions promising they would arrive soon. They assured me they were only taking orders for boots that were in stock. They promised me my boots by the end of August but still have received nothing yet.   I ordered some boots from The Calf Width Boot Company Ltd on 16/09/2008 and got the same telephone message as another person about the company changing to Google check out and therefore they were refunding my payment. I haven't received the refund yet. The telephone number on the site doesn't seem to work either whenever I've tried it. I also sent numerous emails that I have not received a reply to and now the site appears to have gone down altogether!

  I ordered my boots from The Calf Width Boot Company Ltd on 20th September and have received nothing yet. Once I'd read the recent reviews of this company I became very worried and tried to call the company. The number seems to be dead. I have not received a reply to my emails and since I paid by debit card, I can't claim any money back from a credit card company.   Bought a pair of boots from The Calf Width Boot Company Ltd back in March, had to go to VISA to get a refund in June. They claimed that they had sent the boots out but Canadian Customs had refused, and insisted that I needed to pay postage a second time around.

  I ordered two pairs of boots in May 2008, paying by credit card. It is now Sept 25th and I have received no boots and no contact. I have emailed and attempted to phone several times and received no response whenever I have tried. I have lost all hope of seeing these boots and am now just trying to find a way to get my money back.

  I had call saying that The Calf Width Boot Company had changed payment system so would be given a refund which I have yet to receive but in mean time had ordered boots through new google payment system (not knowing i had not been refunded for first pair, wish i had checked bank first but had confidence in company as had sent me refund email and called!

  I ordered my boots on 19th May. They debited the money straight away but now its September and they still have not arrived. After repeated e-mails and trying to contact them by phone I have reported them to my credit card company and will attempt to get my money back.

  I ordered boots from this company back in April 2008. Needless to say, despite being debited straight away, I never received the boots. I was in email communication with a manager for a while, but all I got was seemingly different excuses and broken promises. Luckily, my credit card company (I live in New Zealand) has a guarantee to refund your card if the goods never turn up, so I was at least able to get my money back. But what an awful experience!   I feel the way this company has treated me is simply terrible. I experienced delays in receiving my boots, they fit poorly and two months after returning the boots, I still have not been refunded yet. I have found it near impossible to contact them and any responses have been unsatisfactory to me.

  I am in the same situation as most of you. I ordered and paid for a pair of boots on 30 April and I haven't received them. They did not reply to my emails although I sent at least four and trying to contact them. They answered my texts and said that they would be sending my boots. Of course they haven't yet. They even told me they had problems with their trucks being stuck in Calais! I think I heard it all.

  I ordered two pairs of boots on 14 May 2008.. Since then they have not responded to my emails and the phone goes straight to fax. I have tried finding alternative number with directory enquiries but I can't find them. I am concerned and I will contact Barclaycard to try to recover my money. Great company when you want to order and pay money but that's the last it seems I may have heard from them....

  Ordered boots on april 7th, money taken out of my account straight away but no delivery did manage to contact them by e-mail begining of june only to be given a list of excuses. when I mentioned taking further action I was sent a rather nasty e-mail. Have been unable to contact them since. do not use this company at all.

  I ordered 2 pairs back on April. The first pair arrived and were very good. Could not fault them. I am still waiting for the second pair. I have emailed and phoned on and off for about 3 weeks. Am going to try consumer direct for advice before looking at options..
