Good Points: This camera is pretty tiny and will be allowed into concert halls without any problems from security people or stewards!
VIDEO: The video mode is brilliant for indoor music concerts; it picks up all the sound from the tiny microphone and even copes fairly well when playing the video back through camera. (Dont get too close to the halls massive speakers tho) I videoed 70 mins of a 90 mins show - only the memory card capacity, it was the 2gb SD CARD; held me back from recording the whole show!! (The artist on stage didn't mind this). Plays fine without any feedback through TV or computer on Windows Media. (Dont know about HDTV). You can also take decent quality captures from videos which are immediately stored in the memory or SD card for printing.
STILL SHOTS: Im still learning how to use the various shooting modes. In daylight the photos are very clear. Its does take lovely closeups of flower heads etc. Portraits are very good. In low daylight, INDOORS with flash, the pictures come out looking perfectly focussed. Camera copes fairly well with concert lighting. FUN: Are the shutter noises it makes either None or a chattering monkey or barking dog!! This is good for making little children and famous pop stars laugh when taking their photos. :)

Bad Points: VIDEO: If you zoom in/out during filming it cuts out the sound recording for a second.
STILL: +/- Im still learning to use all the settings since I mostly use it for concerts. Obviously the small range of the zoom is limiting for concerts. But if you are seated close to stage (12 rows) you can still take some good shots even with flashing stage effects. The battery is short-lived in continuous use. Eg, videoing or scrolling through your pictures and editing them on camera.

General comments: The Samsung Digimax L60 is my first digital camera and I find its only better than my KODAK Advantix because of the video with sound recording.

BUY 1 OR 2 More of the rechargeable batteries so your not caught out between shots. You can buy online from about 2.50.
BUY more SD cards - they seem to fill up quickly! Not sure if takes a 3GB or 4GB card yet. Anyone know?

I haven't found a way of storing my videos on DVD so that I can playback any time on DVD/VCR. ANYONE HELP?

A good little camera. The user should read the manual more often but haven't got much time!
