    Good Points: fits flat to wall, which is what I wanted.


    General comments: Coal effect motor noisy from day one. My Dimplex CHT20 was replaced after a few months but is noisy again a few months later. I havent found one on the internet yet . What is the price of silence?

    I was genuinely surprised at the quality of the Dimplex CHT20 for the money.
    I have found that some flame effects on electric fires can be irritatingly noisy, but this one is virtually silent in operation, and quite impressive! I am an engineer, and having had a good look at the fire, I am very impressed with the overall design. The fan heater in the top canopy also works well.

    This fire puts some others at the same price to shame.
