“DONT BUY FROM COOPERS”

★★★☆☆

written by on 09/04/2013

very light weight, sometimes to light as it moves when deling with lge bulky items. I still have 5 years to go on the guarentee, Coopers will not except machine back to repair as i do not have original box. I have also been told i need to pay £14 for the machine to be taken away. Staff on the phone not helpful and I felt that they were putting every obstical in my way not to except the machine back. The only party the guarentee protects is Coopers and not the customer. I do not have the space to keep the box so unless, as Coopers suggested, and buy another box from Coopers I am stuck with my faulty machine. I have learnt my lesson and will always buy from a shop where i can get some personal after sales service . They never tell you about the poor guarentee on the television channel.

I can only agree - I have had nothing but trouble from COOPERS. I phoned them asking for advice about upgrading from one of their own machines (which keeps breaking down ) I got abuse and insults from THE OWNER !!
COOPERS ARE BAD NEWS ...

I have 9yrs left on my guarantee machine was purchased from ideal world with 15yrs coopers guarantee when the machine developed a fault I phoned coopers to book it in they were not interested and told me to refer back to ideal world because they do not have a contract with ideal world anymore my item was also in it's original box phoned ideal world and got same response so the guarantee is not worth the paper it's written on total disgrace.

“nice machine”

I bought my 8080 from create and craft so couldn't try before buying. However, on receipt of the machine found it easy to set up and use. It sews well and is quiet and doesn't need the foot pedal to control your sewing. love the self threading and thread cartridge-main reason for purchase! saying this tho, I do find I have to stoop over it to sew unless I have it arm's length away which causes shoulder and back ache. (i'm 5'8). the other negative I have to say is that more feet in the box would be welcome. price,i thought, reasonable for what it does. Also was sold with 15 yr guarantee but not through brother...think c+c were supplied by coopers-'nuff said !!

My innovis 8080 needle threader broke I can't find any body to repair it.  I phoned brother to ask where I could get it repaired the gentleman on the phone told me you didn't make that model any more then put the phone down. I have a machine now that does not do the reason I purchased it for I have difficulty threading the needle. Help.
