“You get an long list of maps, but only the major road...”

You get an long list of maps, but only the major road atlasses (that you can buy from your local garage for a fiver) work. I have tried activating and giving the serial number several times, it just says, "already activated" and "serial number already registered." I've installed the updated version which then said my maps were out of date!!!! I've reinstalled the original version!

I can't find anything to resolve this in their help system after about two hours of trying and their office is... (read more)

With GPS units taking off and now being available to almost anyone, computer software to augment them have also seen growth. Pretty much every GPS manufacturer, and a number of non-GPS manufacturers, including Microsoft, now has their own version of mapping and plotting software to further enhance our units. Most offer much the same sort of basic features: the ability to mark specific locations (called "Pinpoints", "Marks" or "Waypoints"), as well as to plot routes between them.
