Good Points: Very friendly and helpful staffDelicious foodGood variety of menu options Very reasonably pricedComfortable seatingPleasant decor and atmosphereGood supply of newspapers

Bad Points: Very popular cafe so it can get busy. Not normally too much of a wait though as the staff are extremely quick at serving.

General comments: We've been going to Upstairs Cafe and Gift Shop for about 5 years and the quality of food and service has been consistently the best we've found in any cafe. In fact we like it so much that we've even made the 200 mile round trip just to have Sunday lunch there! Particularly recommend the tea latte and the steak pie.

The menu is welcoming with something for everyone, just remember to leave room for dessert.

The drinks menu is great, with hot and cold drinks available, but I can definitely recommend the Tea Latte, it's divine.
