The Asus A7V8X-MX motherboard is a great board for the price never had a prob with it doe's everything it say's had it for 5 years has not missed a beat and great value for money. Bad points on board graphics could be better but that was solved with a top graphics card. Get this board fantastic not a problem with it thanks asus (read more)

I NOT find this audio driver with other motherboard.
You may also find this with a7v8x x or a7v8x mx se. Great audio driver with great motherboard.

I`m using this home PC for... almost 6 years now. And everythying is doing great. I'm very satisfied with it. Well recommend Asus.
I'm saying this, because the PC that I've had before, crashed because of the motherboard, and that happened in third year of its lifetime, Yeah... it was not ASUS.

I bought the Asus A7V8X-MX to replace a cheap-o I've had that wouldn't start up when you press the power button until you reset it when it was running (Had VIA Chipset!). What I noticed was much better stability and more power!
Having an Asus board in your PC with a slow processor (1.6 AMD) is like having a Nova GTE Injection head on a 1.0 Litre Nova engine. It's not much faster, but you get smoother torque and a cleaner run over a Carburettor!

Everything runs really hot on the Asus A7V8X-MX! 56-65 C for CPU with no load, even chipset, memory chip and capacitors on the motherboard are hot! I think AMD doesn't have this model in the recommended list.
The first MB was getting hot and died in a year; good think this MB has 3 years warranty. I got the second one and everything is still running Hot! Make sure to get the best CPU fan and extra fan for your case! Good Power supply is a must!

The Asus A7V8X-MX is a good board for someone looking for Quality price and Features all in one, it has AGP 8X, Onboard LAN and 6 channel sound, it retails for about $120 Australian so it wont break the bank, a highly recommended motherboard for gamers or the average PC user (read more)
