    Bad Points: 1. On-camera flash is a bit weedy, but it's better than nothing where you need some fill.2. Battery is fiddly to remove for charging, but that's a side-effect of the weathersealing necessity


    General comments: Coming from an older Canon dSLR, the change to Pentax K10D's way of doing things was slightly awkward, but the advantages rapidly outweighed the disadvantages.

    1. In-body Image Stabilisation.
    2. Ability to use all legacy PK lenses, nearly all M42 and many others. 3. Weather sealing is a plus.

    Shooting in Raw or Raw plus Jpg is a bonus. All previous Pentax lenses will work on the K10 D, takes great pictures..
    Ease of use camera and well prices and the numerous 2nd hand lenses one can pick up at a bargain price make this camera well worth a look at in my opinion.

    Over the last 25 years I have owned several SLR cameras, most of them Pentax cameras due to their user friendly design, logical approach and excellent ergonomics. I started with the ME Super, LX, MZ3, ist*D and now I recently upgraded to the latest K10D.
