Good Points: flat screen, OSD
General comments: I have this monitor more than 2 years.
It served me well for games and programming until I bought LCD. Now I use it for WEB surfing and some office applications.
This monitor has bright and sharp picture with good colours and contrast.
Also it is smaller than other brand CRT 17" monitors and brighter.
It works very good on 1024X768@75Hz and on lower resolutions, actual viewing screen size is about 15.4".
There are versions available in white and black body.
The only special feature it has, is Light Frame that allows to make a whole screen or part of it brighter, it is very good for 3D shooters that have a lot of dark places.
It is a good monitor for general purpose, office, games, Internet and multimedia, however, LCD prices are going down and it becomes more and more worthy to buy LCD, but applications and games that require a very bright monitor, Philips 107T5 is a great solution, LCD monitors still are not able to compete with its brightness. I recommend this monitor for such applications.
