    Good Points: None.

Bad Points: Very poor delivery of steam, bulky and has failed completely after only eight weeks use.

General comments: In my opinion the Morphy Richards 42272 is a poor relation to the steam generators of a few years ago where the steam was generated in the iron rest and delivered trough the hose as and when required. The modern iron to me is nothing more than a glorified water pistol that squirts water on to the iron sole plate from a base reservoir. The technology is going in reverse. I have had to repair my old Tefal whilst I find a steam iron that generates STEAM ain't a usable form.

I had a Tefal before but couldn't justify paying an extra £100 for another one over the cost of this iron. Pressure not quite as good (manufacturer's info on steam generator irons makes comparison difficult). Good iron for price. No problem with drips.
