How would you like to be asked to leave a hotel just because you insist on talking to the manager about a noisy bedroom? Then this is the hotel for you. The rooms on the piste side are fine (if a bit over priced), the food is excellent and the staff are charming apart from the two girls in reception who are surly and unhelpful. But if you have a room on the town side expect to be woken up by the bar under you and the drunken revelers returning throughout the night.
Speaking to Reception, we discovered there was no other room available, apart from a very expensive suite. So I asked on over ten occasions to speak to the manager about our problem.
But she was never available. Eventually, after my kids suffered a third sleepless and noise-full night, I found the manager. After a discussion I was asked to leave the hotel. I, and my family, were shocked. Even more so when we went to supper and found that our normally excellently positioned table had been swapped for one in a virtual corridor. I approached the manager to ask why.
We exchanged a few more pleasantries. She repeated that she would like us to leave the hotel. Of course, in Easter week, no other hotels had any space. Thanks to the excellent (and extremely helpful) Office of Tourism we found an apartment to rent. The cheek of it is that, despite asking us to leave on three occasions, the hotel still not refunding us for the three days remaining accommodation we had to pay for in advance.
For all I know our rooms were re-let.
So, GO to Val Disere it's a lovely place. The Brussels may be fine if your room is on the piste side, BUT there are other hotels that offer with equally good locations.

The Hotel Le Blizzard is located in the centre of Val d'Is re, this hotel has really nice bedrooms and an excellent restaurant where they serve buffet breakfast and four course dinner. There is also an outdoor heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi.....our favorite bits!!

The skiing here is excellent for the intermediate and expert levels with plenty of challenging runs, there are facilities for beginners but having not used them I am unable to comment.

    All round excellen ...
