Good Points: This is extremely easy to use and has good image quality - especially in low light conditions - bought just before holidays to supplement other cameras - ended up not using them but just using the Fuji. Easy to download to computer - using XD H card produced very reasonable videos also. Menu system easy and intuitive, picture viewer very reasonable even in bright sunlight. - All in all a complete steal at just over £100. Highly recommended in several magazines at higher prices as a bargain. The facial recognition technology is extremely helpful in all point and shoot situations.
Bad Points: Only uses XD cards which are increasingly hard to find - lots of stores (online) are out of stock - newer models also use SD cards (easy to source) but do not have some of the advantages of the F31fd
General comments: Good bargains to be had from this on the net - at the moment much cheaper from many reputable companies than on places like eBay - snap up a bargain - the wife and kids loved it and now use it all the time.

I have a Panasonic FZ30 and TZ1, which are not real great in low light situations so the Fuji F31FD fills that gap nicely. It's been easy and fun to use and I took a lot of pictures in the theatre of a cruise ship, a true test for any camera, and I got a lot of keepers. I'm looking forward to working with it some more to get better acquainted with it's abilities.
