Don't ever think you can book a holiday with them and then try and cancel it, payed the ins as well still found reasons not to pay me back, only got 10 percent back with 3 weeks to holiday date to go. Also some of the information on the holiday sites are a bit mis leading you need to read lots of reviews to get clearer picture. As for me will never book with again rubbish firm. (read more)

I booked a cottage - 34 The Village, with Hoseasons in Osbaldswick, York in March. The cottage was fine with the exception of the heating which was completely ineffective. After a three hour argument with the owner, who was unbelievably stubborn, we finally got some supplementary heating and from then on the weekend was fine. I complained to Hoseasons and said that I had not been offered the opportunity to comment on the cottage. They replied and said that they would send me a link to allow... (read more)

Having booked with Hoseasons on numerous occasions (in excess of 45 holidays) we were very impressed at the start, however after 3 years or so the accommodation was very disappointing, we have never booked the same place twice so have a vast experience of various parks, lodges and cottages. I booked a property in Shropshire for the week, however we never made the holiday as I came down with a very nasty flu virus and was stuck in bed the whole weekend. Hoseasons did nothing to help, all they did was give us a note to give to our doctor and said if we can get that signed then they will (try) to get our money back. However we had no joy with the doctor, it was a Friday I was ill and unable to see a doctor until beyond the weekend, my doctor refused to sign anything as I was... (read more)

For a number of years I had used Hoseasons, probably about 6 or 7 bookings a year and totalling thousands of pounds each year. Most of the accommodation I've used I've been happy with. There was one issue on a Norfolk Broads weekend but I did not complain. However a group of us recently had the misfortune of staying at Kinnersley House. There were a number of issues but the main complaint was that the property was freezing cold and not suitable for winter use. It's a large period property... (read more)

Having written to Hoseasons on three occasions to complain about the quality of The Drying Mill, Bradbourne, and offering them an opportunity to respond, we have heard nothing and are therefore publishing our concerns. We would question whether Hoseasons have actually done an on-site assessment of the property and by not responding to our concerns, confirm that they really do not care about their customers - a mistake if they wish to stay in business. We paid £673 plus a booking fee of... (read more)
