Good Points: Does what it says on the box - washes when it works
Bad Points: Constant A02 errors, clock seems to be on a time of its own (Indesit mean time?)
General comments: I had a previous, mechanically controlled Indesit with no problems for ~ 12 years but the pump eventually wore out. So I bought another - the DE63. Big mistake - very poor control and electronics system needed an engineer within a couple of months & since then I've had to replace 3 or 4 bits (three sensors - one of them twice) and the seal for the junction of top wash arm to base.
Now it fails to go through cycle about 1 in 20 times, occasionally leaves a great big puddle. Time to buy something else - steer clear of this lemon.
One other thought - the engineer who came to fix it was useless, having to come out numberless times: his product training was very poor & his beligerant attitude and inability to listen to descriptions of faults as part of a diagnostic loop were very irritating. I eventually decided to fix it myself on about 5 occasions.

Had new kitchen installed in house approximately twenty seven months ago. New kitchen included the Indesit D63 dishwasher. We only use the dishwasher if there are four or more people eating a meal, thus its use was approximately once per week. An internal control panel failed after only twelve cycles (I counted the soap tablets that were supplied with the machine and only twelve had been used.) Machine was repaired at no cost to myself under initial twelve month warranty. Recently the programm ...

I bought this Indesit DE 63 dishwasher based on the high gradings for wash performance. Shouldn't have taken any notice - the wash quality has always been disappointing.
Has leaked, had a part replaced, and now leaks lots more/basically doesn't work properly.
Don't make the mistake we did - steer clear.

This Indesit machine came with a little sticker on the door with phone numbers for service and spares. The service was very good and within the standard warranty period free. Any spares came in the post very quickly. The machine has only lasted about three years which is a shame. Something has leaked into the base and caused a puddle to short out the main motor. Not being able to find the leak and the cost of a new motor being about £90 + callout charge of £70 we are going for a ...
