The Samsung F700 was good while it worked. Touch screen and keypads stopped working and the phone wasn't even on locked. Phones wouldn't turn off unless I take the battery out. It is not recommended. Do your research before you buy it. I made this mistake.

The Samsung F700 is the best phone. It doesn't show animated emotions on the text messages. Overall, i love it! :D

The Samsung F700 can be awkward in general, great idea for a phone just seems really badly made. I would have liked to know about these problems and who I can talk to about them as I have been to my service provider since and they don't have any clue about the phone at all which is starnge, how can they sell something that they don't even know how it works or what might go wrong.

The Internet on my Samsung F700 is really fast! It has a good camera too. The touchscreen can be problematic at times. Overall, a brilliant phone!

Everything was fine at first with my Samsung F700 then all of a sudden my keypad would not unlock after my battery died.

My phone has had several problems, the touch screen has been unresponsive, with the screen locking up when the phone rings. Texting can also make the phone freeze, which involves me having to remove the battery and turn it on again. (im now doing this 3 times a day) Ive actually changed phones now because of it, especially since vodafone were unwilling to fix it. Ive been turned off by touch screens now (previous phone was a LG chocolate, which was rubbish) I think i will stick with conventional buttons.
Decent phone, with several really good points to it, but it needs a bit more work, will have to see how the new F490 works out in a couple months.

The Samsung F700 is a good phone but it is ruined by the touch screen which stopped working after a while and means that you cant ring, answer text.
Also my phone has become a lot slower after the 4 months i've had it and so it takes a couple of seconds from me pressing a button for the screen to light up and something to happen.

I like the touch screen although it can be a little bit unresponsive. I think the twin speakers on the phone really improve the sound quality. I also like the idea of the twin plugs for your speakers as you're not limited to which type of headphone you want to use. This phone has an amazing camera, although I think like the g800/g600 it should of had a 5 megapixel camera. My faults for this phone are that searching for bluetooth devices can take a long time and many of the unique and fun settings have not been added to this phone. I wish I had know that the slide on the phone may stiffen up or pull up the silver paint next to the qwerty keyboard. I got a good deal on this phone so I jumped at the chance.

Well I have the Samsung F700 phone and it is very useful for texting and taking pics. The only bad thing about this phone really is that the screen is smaller than the iPhone and it doesn't turn the screen for which way your holding it like it does on the iPhone. Overall this phone is very useful and it is more of a blackberry but it's still very stylish!!!

Most upset at touch screen not responding to answer and end calls - so much so that I wanted to change to a different model, but of course I was out of the 14 day period! (Thought it was just me getting used to it at first but it became apparent it was the phone.) Phoned customer services who told me that they had had no complaints about this model and told me to take it back to the shop for repair. Took it back to the shop and they told me the same - also said if it's my fault would not be covered under the warranty they gave me! Still waiting for it over 2 weeks later!
Really wish I'd chosen another model!!!

I picked up the Samsung F700 with a new Vdf contract, and have had continuing problems with the touch-screen level of responsiveness. Initially, I had a replacement phone, but it appears to be a software problem, so I now have to live with it. Quite often, the phone doesn't ring, even though someone is calling - the next thing, I have a message. I now use a visible display 'toy' that flashes when there is an incoming call. When the phone does ring the 'outdoor' phone profile call volume is very low. Using 'vibrate' is also unsatisfactory because the strength of the vibration is low. I have an 18-month contract, so am hopeful that these teething problems will be sorted out because I do like the touch functionality, and the large screen. It's a shame that all the other silly problems cancel out what could be a very good phone

I think the Samsung F700 phone is pretty amazing, although has a few faults, the touch screen scrolling can be a nightmare, but with getting used to (like most phones) it's fine, and can be very expensive with all the extras vodafone offers! Not worth purchasing extras in non 3G areas, but Vodafone covers most counties, Would prefer it with Wi-Fi, but no biggie there. The qwerty keyboard is brilliant for people with reasonable keyboard skills, takes about 2 hours to adapt, others may find it difficult, at first I thought, bloomin heck, my fingers are too fat for this, but has worked out fine, and can type out most webpages in less than 3 seconds. Many extras! Mobile TV, youtube, google maps with present location within approx 600-1200 metres via triangulation of mobile masts (can be more or less than that in remote places), phone tracker (tracks phone when someone else puts another sim in it), music station with downloads, cost 1.99 a week for that, but it's very good although can't share. mobile TV, again prices range from 3 quid to 15 with vodafone, internet displays full pages but can adapt pages for your phone, depending on your price plan, 1 quid a day (upto 15Mb) or 7.50 month for 120Gb. Plus the usual extras like calculator, bluetooth, etc. As you can see, the price can build up enormously. Mobile tv is ok, for a phone, nothing special, but you can get the general idea. Camera is pretty much the same as most phones, but I don't use it for photos. All prices above are with Vodafone, which I have to say are the best provider for network coverage and customer service.

I love the ease in which i can access everything I need from the Samsung F700 phone. This is the future of the mobile phone.

Overall a nice phone holds a reasonable amount of songs, easy to navigate through the different menus, and looks sleek and professional. Qwerty board a real bonus as texts are so much easier to type. Clear screen. Brilliant for use on youtube. Menu layout really easy to understand

I agree with this review because... I also have the Samsung f700 and the touch screen is awful. Not so much of a problem when dialling numbers but a real pain when telephone banking and you're 15 digits into your 16 digit card number and (for example) you press 2 and it registers as 5. Also contrary to another review, the camera is very poor. Picture quality is fine but it takes about 5-6 seconds to take a photo.
