    Pretty great product you would expect from a good company, Philips DVDR 1640 supports almost all types of CD and DVD disks. It supports Dual Layer disks as well.

    I did not experience a lot of failed copies using this DVDR and it was a great product to use. It's reliable and easy to install.

    This device has very nice looking front panel.
    It supports all DVD and CD formats, comes with Nero Burning Rom (trial version, after period of time you wil loose some functions like conversion from DIXV to VCD for example, but you can buy a full version with a discount).
    Very reliable, I burned on the last two years more than 1000 disks, and it still works like new (other burners that I had before, worked good one year, and then stopped to write disks).

    I recommend this device for everybody ...
