Stayed in Meribel. Booked through Maidstone office and made it clear we had a son who was crawling. When we got to the chalet, the staff showed us to a room which was small and the shower and cleaning facilities were pathetic. The stairs upstairs were lethal especially with a baby. What we should have done was demand a move to a safer chalet-especially as I was told the chalet was suitable for babies! The staff were ok, but generally couldnt give a ....... We were told that we could stay on the sunday till after lunch by the resort manager. When we woke up, we were told by the cleaner to clear of by 10am!
Generally low quality and low budget chalets which is great if your on a budget

For £300 notes I stayed in the Silver Ski Chalet Jesmin and it was great, the attitude of the staff was superb and the food was the order of the day. Our hosts were very experienced and nothing was too much trouble although we were there last ever guests.

Stayed in a Silver Ski chalet in La Plagne. Very hospitable staff, good food, great location. Couldn't have asked for more, especially for the price given. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Stayed in Silver Ski Telekie. Had excellent hosts. The food was extremely good and the chalet very comfortable apart from the beds which were basic and a bit hard. Close to Merol chair lift and to bus stop so convenient position in village. Chalet large, bright and nicely decorated.

The chalet was very cosy and homely and the young couple that ran the chalet were friendly, helpful and informed. We were with silver skis sister company, Amazing ski in chalet Amazing 1 and despite the 'no frills' explanation we were thrilled. The chalet had great views and the meals served were simple but delicious. Very hearty and plenty for seconds. We had the best food and best holiday with silver ski yet! Thank you!

The overall silver ski experience was very much that of a budget company, despite the price being comparable to other companies that provide better food and service. We did not have a rep. The food was mediocre at best, water jugs didn't get refilled at dinner at all, the hot breakfast that was supposed to be offered every day wasn't, and at the end of the week we were told to strip the sheets off our own beds. When we did this we discovered a pair of boxer shorts belonging to a previous occupan ...

We stayed in Silver Ski's sister company Amazing Ski, the young couple that ran the chalet overslept twice, so the guests got their own breakfast. We constantly ran out of stuff and when we asked the staff whether we can get more, we were told 'The shopping arrives just once a week and we often don't get everything we ask for!!!!'

The chalet was generally dirty and the food was more like school dinners, with things like lasagne and cottage pie being served. I must say this was not the fault of ...

We as a group (26 of us!!) Booked out Chalet Bon Coin for New Year 2008/2009.

I can honestly say that it was one of our best years with silver ski!!
The food was excellent, top quality standard, the staff catered brilliantly for our six children that ate early, there was always plenty of food left on the table even after we'd got our mits into it!

La Plagne is a great resort, we have stayed here many times and always come back, we will definately be staying in the Bon Coin again next year.

Chalet Romeo. Great location: can ski to the door literally ( I actually touched the door with my ski tips) and only about 50 metres from piste and only 30 metres yards form the local bar. Good value for money. Sauna & jacuzzi. This year they have a professional chef so food much better than usual for this company. Young friendly helpful staff. Sunday flights so quick transfers and you get an extra half day's skiing if you are up to it when you arrive at lunchtime. I usually find the ski compani ...

I have stayed in various hotels/chalets skiing all over France & Austria...... this is the worst chalet I've ever stayed in and the most awful vegetarian food I have ever been served in my entire life. This was actually my 5th time with Silverski and I have never had any problems with any of my previous holidays with them. They have always provided a very good service and the hosts have been really lovely people who have always made me and my family very welcome.
Incidentally, I stayed in the ...

It may be cheap, but a general feeling that you are interrupting their holiday and ruining the staffs fun makes for a miserable time when you are not skiing. No customer care whatsoever, don't expect a any hospitality. If you still intend to book Silverski chalet, check age of staff and experience, all ours under 20. Food o.k if not vegetarian, only vegetables served to vegetarians, not good

We stayed for a week in Plagne Villages in March 2008 at Silver Ski's premier chalet. 10th time with them, and we have generally found this company a good balance between economy and quality - ie good value! seems that the standards are slipping, although the location and chalet itself were excellent - its the staff and management attitude that let them down.... living on past glories or stuck in the past??

If you want luxury and restaurant quality food go and spend 700-1000 thats not what Silver Ski is all about.

Free internet in some chalets, who cares !!!

We have travelled with Silver Ski several times. Usually we have been happy - really you get what you pay for so it is not luxury. As I have stated in bad points - sometimes we have had wonderful staff and at other times, the staff have been poor - difficultly with cooking for 12 people, poor skiers and little knowledge of the slopes.
Chalets are a good quality - we have been very impressed by several of the Meribel chalets.
Smooth transfers to resort. We have always been happy with flight ...

Silver Ski employed chalet staff with little or no experience of catering for a large group of people. The level of hospitality and general demeanor of the staff was poor, resulting in an uncomfortable stay.
