    Bad Points: customer service rude staff


    General comments: the service from the staff was appaling i recieved a broken phone only to be blamed that it was me that broke it! it was a technical fault if i had known how to tamper with phones id be working in the industry.i will never shop at o2 again!

    My phone broke at the beginning of January I brought it to my local o2 store and they sent it away to be fixed 2 weeks later my dad received a call when i was at work saying id have to pay £70 or it wouldnt be fixed and sent back to be!     I turned to O2 after very bad experiences with Vodafone and T-Mobile. Although they are quite expensive, their customer service and coverage is 1st rate. I had a Samsung G800 under contract and it stopped working - I thought it would be out of guarantee as it was over 12 months old but they explained that it was covered for the life of my 18-month contract and promptly sent it away for repair.     I will never recomend 02 to anyone as there shops or there customer service is beyond appalling, even in the shops they dont even know their procedures about non working phones, or when they will be able to upgrade your phone, if your phone stops working you will be without one untill they send a replacement, in my case they lost it for over a week, lucky i had sent it special delivery, i had a nokia n80 that broke on the first day, then a replacement nokia n73 was given, after it has failed m ...

    I have just purchased a O2 monthly sim, I did this as I was previously on Pay as you go, but it was costing me a fortune, so it seemed like a perfect solution. I pay £25 a month, get 600 minutes, and 1000 texts, plus I can text and call any other O2 user for free.

    It will remain to be seen if this is as good as it sounds, but I will keep you posted.

    I made the mistake to switch to O2, and for the last 6 months I've had tons of problems. My bills are wrong every month. They keep charging me for calls that were part of the allowance of the previous month. Their online billing system is always behind by up to 5 days, so it's impossible to keep track of how much one spends, or how much allowance one has used, and O2 uses this so customers use up their allowance and spend even more.

    Bought a samsung e900 pink mobile phone for my daughter for christmas after 3 months the screen turned white and would not work, I took it back to my local 02 shop (as it was still under guarantee) I explained what had happened and the lady said it would have to be sent of for repair by samsung, I received a phone call this morning to be told it could not be repaired and that it was water damaged and to collect the phone, we could not understand this and how it became water damaged I asked them ...

    I was entitled for an upgrade with O2, so I phoned them and said I want the Nokia N73 phone and none other. Because of my low price plan I had to pay for it - £100, but then they offered me to lower my bills 50% for 12 months on 12 months contract! So now I have the phone I wanted, amazingly low bills and I even saved £80 a year!

    Brilliant store, If you want to be on the 02 network but are unsure of the phone you want, I would definitely go to the 02 shop. The employees seem very happy, and there for work efficiency. They give you the important details and information on phones, and all of the advice I've been given is incredibly unbiased.

    I have been with O2 ever since I had my first mobile phone 5 years ago. I have been a very loyal customer and sang their praises as I believed they were a brilliant network especially as I work in the industry myself (Phones 4 U, Administrator)

    When the 02 store is empty I find the service great - the staff are very friendly and willing to help you out.

    When the store is busy, however, I could stand there for ten minutes without one member of staff offering to help me. Whereas adults walking into the same store were attended to much faster.

    Great clean shop, the best network means the best shop, staff are always lovely I love it. The shop is nice and warm so when I'm in town I go let's look in the O2 shop because it's so nice the network is cheap, Uniforms are very smart men and woman and when I go there its always smell very nice!

    I went into the tiny 02 store in Grantham, as a test. I stood there for 5 minutes. Nope. No-one talks to me. 2 more minutes. Nada. Had a play on the N-gage and left.

    My wife signed up for a contract with O2 back in May and she did so in the Dumfries shop. The guy we spoke to was very helpful, explained everything to her and she feels she has got a good deal.

    I wanted the same, so whilst visiting Kendal last week I visited the newly opened shop to get a similar contract. The assistant who signed me up was very helpful.     More than a year ago I purchased a phone from 02 online, a package which I was very happy with until recently. Having held the contract for 12 months I wanted to upgrade phone - log on to do this but oh no! The site, as usual, has 'technical difficulties'I did manage to find a number to ring, so I did just that, 15 minutes of being on hold later, I requested an upgrade to a phone being advertised free on the site.     I went on the online O2 shop to buy a phone. Simple you may think. Thats exactly what I thought! Having been messed about by the smaller websites I thought I would pay a little bit more for a professional and popular company. So off I went and ordered the phone. A Motorola V600.     Every time something has gone wrong with my phone or service from O2 it has always taken at least 3 phone calls to sort it out, often being put on hold for half an hour. I received a phone from them as an Upgrade in a shop which didn't work and then was repeatedly told that I had to have a new one delivered although this was highly inconvenient and after much discussion with different members of staff was finally told that this information was completely wrong.     The service in the O2 store wasn't so bad, but o2 service is the worst I have ever seen!!! we have had problems with billing, and with the mobile accounts.

    i went to purchase a mobile phone from the o2 store in kingston upon thames, and will certainly recommend the service at this store to others. I was fortunate enough to be served by Andy the Manager, and he could not do enough for me. His knowledge was endless and the package recommended to me has been superb
