We had a Electrolux ESL 620 for 10 years, before it had an electrical failure which is almost as expensive to fix as buying a new one. I felt that 10 years was a reasonably long life. It wasn't a very good washing machine (we had to rinse everything before washing it, otherwise it wouldn't always clean everything well); after nine years it needed new wheels on the drawers, which took me a while to realise you could buy easily enough on the internet and replace yourself. The Electrolux ESL6115 worked quite well and seemed efficient. However the processor failed only 15 months after purchase, costing £220 to repair. This is an unreliable machine in my opinion is a complete waste of money. (read more)

I have had the same problem with an AEG dishwasher (Now owned by Electrolux) It is 18 months old and the electronic unit has stopped working, thereby the water does not heat up. Cost to repair is Â£200+ A new dishwasher is on order and it is not an AEG (Electrolux).

My Electrolux ESL6115, about 2 years old, has just stopped working. It switches on but it isn't possible to select any programmes.

<br/>I had this issue before and got an engineer out. He showed me how holding down both the '3 hour' and 'programme select' buttons for a few seconds clears it. But it's not working now.
<br/>
<br/>Anyone got any ideas about this? What the issue might be or if you had this issue too?
