    Good Points: Beautiful setting, rooms very nice, very affordable


    Bad Points: No air conditioning


    General comments: A great place to stay. The views are fantastic from the rooms, well decorated, very clean, and the grounds are excellent. You're out in the country and staying on a working winery. The value is good and the hosts have good places to recommend to eat and tour. I have been there twice and would go back again.

    The rooms and apartments are very nice with views overlooking the valley and vineyards. We stayed there in April of 2006 and July of 2007. The springtime was nice as the climate was t-shirt weather during the day. The summer was very hot and this was a bit uncomfortable as there is no air conditioning. Thick walls keep it cooler inside, but still a bit warm. Otherwise a great place and the hosts are very nice.

    My wife and I stayed for 3 days at Cascina Christiana at the end of Sept 2006.

    We were after a nice luxurious relaxing break at the end of a tour of some of Italy's beautiful cities.

    The B&B is also a vineyard and winery where they make and sell their own wine. The grounds have a stunning views across the valley filled with vines, also it is a beautiful infinity pool.

    We stayed in a large spacious room with en suite facilities. They also have 4 self catering apartments.
