“Warsaw Stag Party with Vamos Travel!”

Just returned from an amazing Stag Party in Warsaw. It was a fantastic location for a Stag do. Plenty of good bars, clubs, restaurants and stunning women! Generally, most places are inexpensive. Taxis are also relatively cheap. Awesome time in Warsaw. Would definitely recommend it as a stag venue and booking it through Vamos Travel made it hassle free. Only one problem on the stag do with the restaurant, we phoned Vamos and they had it all sorted within 10 mins which in my humble opinion is very impressive. The hotel was stunning, which was a relief because one of the guys in the group was being very fussy but none of us had a bad word to say about it. I've had a great experience with Vamos travel. My travel advisor made the whole experience really easy and stress free throughout. I arranged a stag trip to Munich and it couldnt have been easier - i had been a tad worried that trying to organise a trip for 8 guys abroad might turn into a bit of a nightmare! As Best Man it was my duty to organise the perfect Stag do. I decided on Bulgaria and got in touch with Russell at Vamostravel. He put together a fantastic package which included 2 female hosts to guide us safely around the City. Very much like Amsterdam but at a mere fraction of the cost! The "Best Stag Ever" was the congratulations I got after organising my brothers stag to Borovets in Feb 2013 from a bunch of 30 something guys who have been and done all the usual stag ideas. This would not have been the case without the help of Russell Smith From Vamos Travel. As a best man I wanted to do something amazing for the stag do. I needed to keep it cheap but go all out with what we did! Skiing in Bulgaria was the perfect trip for us. Fantastic trip!!! Right from the first phone call Vamos had everything under control, they offer lots of locations and all kinds of activities. We opted for Brno in the Czech Repubic and an armoury event. Everything was taken care of, accomodation, transport, the event and even a very knowledgeable guide were all included, the only thing we had to sort out were the flights. Dobra dan! We thought some useful reflections at the end of our amazing week of Crotian biking would be useful to you. Many times during the week we had to remind ourselves that this was all real. The beauty, the lovely people, truly a blessing. Everyday we found new vilages by the sea, crossed mountains and enjoyed the breath taking views of the neighboring islands. I went on the teenage family departure 2 weeks adventure holiday, 1 week Slovenia and 1 week Croatia July 2011. I had discussed my booking beforehand with Vamos as I was particularly looking for group travel with similar age families as I am alone with my teenagers and it is more fun to be in a group for this type of holiday. Vamos asked the Review Centre to withdraw this review but following my sending them all the correspondence the Review Centre re-instated it. My review was balanced and honest and the tone of Vamos's reply speaks volumes. My report was fair and completely honest. The activities were good but the fact that we had the second week alone on a a Teenage Group Family Adventure Holiday was for us a huge disappointment.
I contacted them whilst abroad and had to chase them for a reply. If they had been as interested in a satisfactory reply when I contacted them as they have been to this criticism we wouldn't be here now.
My 1 star stands. It is MY opinion of MY holiday and these review sites are for the PUBLIC to put their experiences - good or bad forward.

We had an excellent honeymoon, made easier by all the hard work and organisation that Vamos put into making our honeymoon run smoothly. I would thoroughly recommend the Stay with the Count tour of Romania, which is a stunningly beautiful country. Our 16 days in Iceland are hard to put into words. We saw things that even now I can't believe. I sat at an edge of a waterfall, sub-merged myself in a natural geo-thermal pool, hiked over glacial landscapes and rode my first horse. My Granddaughter wished to go on a trip to Krakow so that she could visit the Auschwitz camp. I searched the Internet to find a Travel Agent that could provide me with an included all day trip to Auschwitz, most were for a half day tour and I had been advised this was just not long enough. Vamos Travel is a specialist Tour operator, that prides its self on personal client attention and its superior local knowledge.
<br/>When this client briefed their personal 'Travel Manager' @ Vamos Travel, they asked for an all day Auschwitz tour. We recommended our regular all day coach tour, which has a approx. duration of 6 hours. From experience, 2-3 hours of exploring the harrowing concentration camps has been more than enough for our clients.
<br/>The client - did NOT brief their Travel manager, that they specifically wanted to spend more than 3+ hours at the camps. They simply asked for an all day tour. Which we delivered!!! And which we may add, has been one of the longest running Polish tours existing from Krakow.
<br/>Also, had the client pointed out that they are unfortunately suffering with a physical disability, maybe we could have offered more information / support / insight in to the tour.
<br/>Lets go back to this clients 'GOOD POINTS left on this website.

I spoke to Vamos travel at great length via the telephone and explained I wanted an all day tour, because I had been told by some-one who had already been to Auscwitiz/Birkenau that it would take all day if not longer to see all there was to see, so Vamos travel knew exactly what I required and assured me they could deliver, they did not. I also explained to Vamos travel that I had already contacted several other travel agents but they could not offer me a long enough Auscwitz/ Birkenau tour so I declined their offers. Vamos travel could at that point have told me that they could only offer the same as other travel agents, but chose not to. If they had I would not have booked with them but continued to search for what I required.

We are disappointed to read this review, and we are not in agreement with what has been written by the reviewer.
To give ‘you’ the reader more context to this 1 star ‘review’ – I will explain the situation from our companies perspective.
This family client booked a combination adventure holiday - 1 week in Slovenia, 1 week in Croatia. This involves numerous amounts of services and sporting activities, all personally guided by local friendly staff.
Everyone one of these services was delivered as the itinerary promised, throughout the 14 nights.
There were no complaints. Only praise from the client about these services.
In the client’s first initial feedback to our company, she commented that she enjoyed the activities, met another family in the first week and liked our personal staff.
Her feedback sheet in Tolmin (her 1st week adventure holiday in Slovenia) was 90% satisfaction, as were her children’s. So considering this first week, represents 50% of her experience, we cannot accept a 1 star review.
At the heart of the client’s complaint, is the ‘lack of other guests’ on the second week of her trip. This is the only complaint, and the reason for the 1 star review.
Again, let us remind ‘you’ the reader - there were no complaints about the guides, sporting activities, hotels and transfers!
It was her belief, that she should have been informed that no others were booked on the second part of the trip.
Again, this is an unfair critique. Our company is a tailor made travel experts. We design holidays for solo travelers and for groups. Therefore we do not have a minimum number policy.
It’s also, important to note - through the hundreds of family adventure bookings we look after every year, it is very much a 50/50 split of families wishing to join others, and families wishing to be by themselves.
We are an extremely honest and caring company, and we delivered on our amazing itinerary, and presented two wonderful countries. Our company is reviewed on responsible travel directory, and we have not scored below 4 out of 5 stars by every single returning client.
