The Beko CDA543FW is the worst appliance that I have ever owned. I bought it as it fitted the narrow space in my kitchen and seemed to have a good number of shelves/drawers. Unfortunately as it approached its first birthday the fridge stopped working and the engineer came out. He stated that it needed a new compressor. In fact it had 3 new compressors and two of those needed regassing. The engineer stated that the compressors were not efficient enough but we would never get a replacement out of Beko.
Since then the fridge freezes at the back or is way above safe temperature and the freezer defrosts especially at the bottom. Although it is supposedly frost free the back of the freezer is constantly blocked with ice.
I have tried phoning and e mailing Beko but they are not interested in helping - only giving me an engineers phone number! Surely it is not too much to ask that an appliance should work for longer than a year..Do not buy this appliance it is not fit for purpose. I would never buy Beko again.

I had my f/freezer for 18 months, then the fridge compartment iced up on the back wall and wouldn't defrost, looked into the freezer compartment and the lower part on the back was iced up, I called an engineer and he told me it was a system blockage and that the f/freezer was unserviceable. My advice stay well away. And if I could have given zero star ratings thats what it would have had.

I bought the CDA543FW due to good reviews in a consumer magazine. In the first couple of months there as a terrible smell coming from it, at 12mths the fridge was constantly warm, the freezer wouldn't freeze and the fan was constantly going accompanoed by the sound of running water. I don't know how I avoided food poisoning. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone as all I have now is an expensive cupboard with a light in it.

Well where do i start, we bought this item from our Choice catalogue last November and in 6 months it it was faulty 3 times and was repaired 3 times and cost us 3 lots food, one was covered by our insurance but the others times were not.

It was eventually replaced after lots of phone calls and stress and guess what after a two months it has gone again , the compressor has broken and the gas has leaked, i have called both Choice and Beko on the matter and Beko say that the warranty is just to re ...

I had read reviews on the Beko cda543fw before buying and most were positive. It's obvious now that these reviews were submitted before the product reached 1 year old. Mine worked fine until it reached the grand old age of 17 months, now the freezer doesn't freeze and the fridge doesn't chill enough to even keep butter hard. Now in the process of trying to get a repair or replacement through the sale of goods act and also contacting home insurer for loss of contents.
    Would I buy a Beko fridge ...

Purchased just over a year ago. Had to have engineer out twice in first year for major problems which resulted in loss of entire fridge and freezer contents both times. Beko not interested in the slightest when we sent letter of complaint. Awaiting another engineer visit at the moment (luckily we took out extended warranty at end of first year after problems we had experienced)as the fridge temperature is 10 degrees above safe temperature so more food ruined.

After 12months the Beko CDA543FW died a slow death. initially losing temp & then began to leak pools of water all over the floor. After four or five encounters with a mop and bucket it finally passed away peacefully taking a the whole contents of my 'big shop' with it.

Purchased in October of last year for £279.99. i hadn't heard of BEKO before and for good reason. when turned on it makes a droning sound and this is down to the fan in the freezer.

It worked up until the end of july but then when i got home from work one day there was no noise coming from it at all and the fridge food was getting soiled.

luckily my neighbour let me use their freezer so i didn't have to throw it all out.

very dissapointing and it just proves that choosing an unknown ...

The fridge freezer worked as normal for just over a year, it looks nice but has stopped working completely. We lost all our food and have a large expensive useless box in our kitchen. very very dissatisfied
