Terrible delivery. The product was quoted as being delivered in 2-5 days. 11 days later they haven't even dispatched it. Every time I call I speak to a sifferent person, very evidently on another continent who cannot/will not explain to me the problem. I have asked for a refund, but they keep putting me off.

In all, poor delivery with misleading terms, and lots of empty promises from the staff - they always promise to call back but never do. Thoroughly dissapointed, especially as this was supposed to be a christmas present.

    NEVER AGAIN!

I placed my order through Amazon, where PurelyGadgets is a Marketplace seller and as such are supposed to despatch within 1-2 working days. Although PurelyGadgets sent me an email claiming they'd despatch within that time I was still waiting 8 days later.

On my first attempt to contact their customer support I was disconnected after waiting 10 minutes. Once I got through I cancelled the order.

One of their support staff sent me an email saying 'Noting your urgency to receive the item, we do ap ...

A Company that repeatedly tells lies. I ordered a Sony DSC-TX1 camera, "supposedly" ex-stock and was quoted a dispatch/delivery time of 2-5 days. After 4 days, with no e-mail advice of dispatch, I started e-mailing enquiring about delivery. Always a prompt reply, blaming logistics and the Christmas rush. Promising, over the course of a week, three different dispatch dates. Refusing ever to admit that they did not have stock - even when directly asked! After two weeks, I demanded immediate dispat ...

My order was for nearly £800 and comprised several items which all showed as in stock. Good as I needed them quickly. I was told by telephone that I would receive my order within the next few days. After 3 working days I checked my order status on-line. It said 'packing'. 3 days later it still said 'packing'. I telephoned twice and was not given any reason as to why my order had not been dispatched. I emailed too but received no reply. I was still optimistic it would arrive soon. 2 days la ...

I ordered the product (Canon WP-DC11)as it was the best value and was clearly advertised as being in stock. Purelygadgets then continually pushed back the shipping date for a wide variety of reasons, at first it was a 'logistics' issue, then they got the product but it had been damaged and needed to be replaced, then they kept me waiting for another few weeks. The worst thing is that you have to personally chase them up all the time - they kept telling me it was 'next week', until eventually the ...

Claimed to have stock, item didnt pass processing and after 5 wroking days I queried to get the responce below. This responce seems to match a rather large number of other bad reviews and thus leads me to assume it's all one big lie.

Please be advised that I have coordinated with our dispatch team regarding your order. Regrettably, it has come to my attention that the item "OCZ Vertex Series SATA II 2.5in SSD - 120GB" has been found damage by our quality assurance team hence causing the delay ...

I was luckily enough to order though play.com's playtrade so they are making sure I get my money back but like a lot of people that purchased something from PurelyGadgets they said they had them in stock and then it had the status of "Packing" for well over 24HOURS. I was a bit suspicious so I searched online and found this site with loads of people complaining about them.. I then emailed them saying that I wanted to know why it was still being packed over 24 hours after they said they would shi ...

    Worst customer support ever experienced.
recommanded an incorrect hdmi cable. Dispite several emails still not able to swap out an incorrcet cable with an correct cable dispite waiting 2 weeks. Only respond to email every 2 days. Fails to meet their deadlines to pick up faulty cable twice to get a refund. Could not even manage to get their courier to drop off the corrcet cable and pick up the incorrect one. Still waiting for Purely Gadgets to do something with this very simple problem.

Having purchased a nikon camera worth nearly £3000.00 from Purely Gadgets the delivery was timely. It is only then after there lack of after sales that the problems begin. My camera developed a fault so I sent it to Nikon. (Nikon only have 4 repair centres in the Uk). They told me it was a grey import. News to me. and said I must contact the supplier to get a EU warranty. Supplier wants camera back to have a look. Various correspondance has taken place between me and the supplier via e-ma ...

Bought the Panasonic SD-100 and got a free 4GB SDHC card for free. I had to wait a long time on the Purely Gadgets Customer service number. Good price and was able to talk to a live person before I placed the order which gave me more information confidence.

I can honestly say I have had the worst on-line shopping experience of my life with this company over the last week and i've bought a ton of stuff from various different companies, large and small over the years both from this country and abroad...

I am normally pretty careful about ordering from a company I haven't ordered from before but last week in a moment of weakness and seeing they had stocks of everything I wanted I took a gamble and ordered a lens, some memory cards and a hyperdrive f ...

Horrendous shopping experience, never again! Camera developed a fault, which Sony agreed would be covered under warranty but to send it to Purely gadgets 1st - did this. After 2 weeks, Purely G said they would not cover it under their warranty & to contact Sony. Their quote for repair was more than the cost of a new camera! This camera has never been traveling or been exposed to any real wear/tear! I told them to return it to me. It ' s been 5 weeks now, and I'm still waiting to get back a camer ...

I ordered a motorised camera lens from them at the beginning of September. They sent me the unmotorised one, and agreed to a full refund. To date I have not had a penny from them.

I bought my camera from Purely Gadgets at the end of May. It was an excellent camera 'Sony Cybershot T2. In September I tried to turn it on and it would not work. I had done nothing to it and have always been extremely careful. It worked fine the last time I used it. I sent it back to get fixed through the warranty. I was told that it was my fault and I had caused it 'physical damage' even though I know I have not. They said it would cost £11 to fix it (after the returns department having ...

Don't use this mip mop company is what I would recommend - I bought a Koda ZD710 camera which became faulty within two weeks and guess what they said they were repairing it - they sent me another one and guess what I found in the memory - photos ! - someone elses ! - they tried to tell me they had repaired it but I had marked it (call me cynical or what) - do not trust this place or you may pay dearly and end up with someone elses problem!

I ordered a Nikon AF-S 17-35mm f/2.8 lens from this site for £850, which seemed like a very good price. When I received the lens from PurelyGadgets the lens box showed clear signs of bad treatment (dented corners, etc) which happened either during transport or before. Such a camera lens is high-quality optics and should not be thrown around. I sent it back and asked for a factory-new one in impeccable condition, including the box. What I've been sent the second time was a lens where the z ...
