    We bought a Bosch GSN28V01GB tall freezer and it's been in place for just 3 weeks. However, the door alarm sounds intermitently with an apparent warning of defrost, yet the door seal is sound and the door is firmly shut? The temparature LED is also flashing, suggesting that it cannot reach the desired temparature. The freezer keeps us awake with its beeping, and is wholly unsatisfactory for a £550 appliance. We have an excellent Bosch dishwasher though...

    Got this Fridge Freezer and all I have had is problems. the Freezer door opens when you close the Fridge and spoils all your food. Had an engineer around to fix it but shortly afterwards the same problem occurred. Bosch & John Lewis are refusing to replace its only 2 1/2 years old. Avoid Bosch at all costs. I have a washer dryer by them and its also a nightmare. Not sure how they ever achieved such a good reputation. AVOID

    I have always bought Bosch appliances although, the Bosch KGN33V60GB is the first fridge/ freezer. I purchased it for my son as a moving in present.
    After approx. 20 months it didn't defrost ( frost free) and had a build up of ice at the top of the freezer ( my son didn't notice this as it is almost fully enclosed) I noticed that the panel at the top was becoming distorted and the door didn't close properly .

    I've had a Bosch fridge freezer for 21/2 years it has gone wrong twice ,once within guarantee period and now the same fault, food compartment warming up, has re-ocurred, strangely enough just outside the guarantee period of the repair. I thought Bosch were a quality company, but judging from the reviews the opposite is true.

    Bought Bosch KGN33V60GB through Comet. Found to be faulty and comet 'fixed' it. Then it went again. Again they offered to fix it. I got the Bosch enginner to do it. The fridge freezer is faulty and I doubt I will get many years service from it. Comet and Bosch refused to replace it and I think they should!

    If you live in Ireland, my advice is do not buy a Bosh appliance, particularly one you depend on such as a fridge freezer, ours is the Bosch KGN33V60GB. BSH took a week to send out an engineer. In my case a replacement fridge was required, and, when I checked, it had not even been ordered three days later. The staff on the service desk appear pleasant, but their mantra appears to be "sorry but that's the best I can do take it or leave it". In future I'll be leaving it.

    First item, the fan stopped because of tremendous ice build-up and I lost all my food in the f-f. The replacement has similar issues--loud ice dropping, fan issues, veg bins freezing. I'm going to see if I can't get them to allow for different manufacturer.

    Very disappointed, thought Bosch was a good and reliable make. This is my second frost free fridge freezer from them within a year. The same happened with the first. After a while the fridge temperature kept on rising and my food was getting spoiled. They gave me a new from Comet and the same is happening again. Comet should have directed me to buy another brand. Extremely disappointed, i do not recommend buying from Bosch!

    If you have bought this freezer send it back and ask for an uplift number to a low you to buy another brand. The Bosch engineer told me to either buy a AEG or Miele. He also said a whole range of Bosch fridge freezers have the same fault.

    If you can't send your fridge back hassle Bosch for your money back. As a work around the only solution is to totally defrost the whole freezer overnight. I did this yesterday, you will notice a load of water in the drip tray at the back that sits on t ...
