If the food bowl is inadvertently over filled it will lift the chipper or grater disc causing the pusher to be damaged underneath. I
know your answer is do not over fill. I have 2 X Magimix 4100 food processors but the on used at work is not always used properly, could there be s solution e.g like a micro switch that detects an unusual upward lift and stop the machine. Looked at reviews on the range of processors which seem to fair badly, all I can say there are some pretty inept users out...

Quite a few things started to go wrong very early after we bought our Magimix 4100 .For one a few parts easily worn out,I ad to keep ordering spares.Some of the spares can not be fitted by anybody so we ended up paying quite a lot to the service agents.Plastic parts obviously arent compatible with the strong other parts as they continiously get worn out.We are two adults & a 3 year old household & it is not in a heavy use even.We only do mainly juice maximum once a day,now & then some...
